Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Tianjinjx, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Tianjin have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Muhandes (talk) 08:19, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Tianjin, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. Lede of Tianjin article

[edit]

Sorry, but so long as you include the assertion "first-tier metropolis" and the statement "Traditionally, Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai are called the three most important cities" without some sort of citation or reference, I will not accept your version of the lede.

And secondly, the specific information about the 京津城际铁路 is too much for an introductory section. The lede is supposed to give a broad overview of the article's subject. See WP:LEDE for more. --HXL's Roundtable and Record 02:15, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced content. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Muhandes (talk) 08:18, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tianjin. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Muhandes (talk) 11:01, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Even if you don't agree with myself and other editors, I urge you to discuss the issue in the article's talk page rather than edit war. --Muhandes (talk) 11:04, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Hedong District, Tianjin, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Also, you are introducing unsourced material, and you are engaging in edit war instead of discussing it in the talk page. Muhandes (talk) 11:28, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You did the same for Hexi District, Tianjin and Tianjin. Please stop. --Muhandes (talk) 11:32, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
