- Delete "The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) does not maintain a significant assistance program in Gabon and there are no long term projects planned in this country." In 2006-7 CIDA disbursed $420,000 to projects in Gabon.[1]
- Comment I've just remembered that there has been one notable, and at the time quite internationally reknown crisis between Gabon and Canada, the latter reacting with uncharacteristic vehemence in the 1960s, officially breaking all relations and accusing Gabon of interfering in Canadian internal affairs; I think it can easily be found in Kessings' archives.
