Delete - This artist does not meet our notability criteria for WP:GNG nor WP:NARTIST. After conducting a BEFORE search, I was able to find one review:[1], which is not nearly enough. In addtion to the lack of critical/art historical coverage, I cannot find any indication of a distinguished exhibition record at notable museums or galleries, or notable museum collections. Weak delete. I found an art-gallery bio for Bauta, which lists several collections with his works in them. The only one that appeared to be notable enough to have a Wikipedia article was Lowe Art Museum, a university art museum local to Bauta, which I was able to verify had his work through the museum site [2]. I don't think that's enough for WP:CREATIVE #4d, but if other notable museums, especially more significant or non-local ones, could be shown to have collected his works then I could be persuaded to change my mind. —David Eppstein (talk) 07:12, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Many mentions in GBooks, this one [3] mentions his influence over 2-3 paragraphs, not sure if that's enough to put him over the top for notability. His art was featured in a Salon in Cuba here [4] and is/was in the collection of a gallery in Cuba here [5] and something here [6] I think the gov't got him to design an official artwork.
