Suspected sockpuppets

Both vandalized the same set of articles with the sockpuppet restoring master's edits at Dhanush. Obvious socks of each other but I do suspect that both of these are socks of LanguageXpert, given the choice of usernames and edits being made to a selected set of articles, where LX is also interested nowadays. Salvio Let's talk about it! Hi darknessshines told me i am about to be blocked for sock. after that i checked all investigations; At first i couldn't find my name anywhere then i came to some imran guy sock where its written by you that you are having technical evidence that i am their sock. i can't remember which page but at some time i have seen whistle writing in persian or arabic or urdu script.(unfortunately i don't remember where i saw that). i don't understand whats going on. sometimes i surf through my office computer during tiffin breaks. lots of people use that place. Well that does not stand up to scrutiny at all, you figure the only time you have seen Whistlingwoods is when he has written various scripts? But do not recall where? The both of you where all over Talk:Total Siyapaa a week ago, backing each other to the hilt against LX socks. You & Whistlingwoods, which is a SPA account, whose only edits were to help you. Can you read properly what i wrote above.I said that whislingwoodss wrote in urdu or arabic script somewhere (which i can't remember where). Did I mention that I can't remember that he wrote in Total Siyapaa talk page . i know he was supporting the same sources as me but there he was typing in English in Total Siyapa talk page. If you see talk page history of that page. In Total Siyapaa Talk page he never wrote with that urdu or arabic language.And at that time i didn't even know that languageXpert has created socks for bad editing. i was thinking Ibuntabet (whatever his name was) and Xcrescent are different person. I just checked whistl's talk page . there I found that He had some discussion with a picture from the page Kaanchi... So your accusation that whistling was only involved in Total Siyapaa is wrong.I don't know about this picture submission thing yet. But whistle knows. The only other edits WW made was to edit war a copyvio poster into an article, he has never written any script anywhere that I can see on any article, as he edited but two pages, Talk:Total Siyapaa and Kaanchi: The Unbreakable, which you have never edited? I have seen him writing in non english language.You can ask all those administrators who were involved in Total Siyapaa editing. I am 100% sure but can't recall where I saw that. DoRD (talk) What I meant is that I don't have any tools or know how to use them . Pages get edited so many times . In other cases I have seen users remember the edit similarities while filing sock cases . Some of the edits are more than a year old .They must have a strong memory or access to some tools . (Non-administrator comment) What I was calling to your attention was that a number of the contributions of both of these suspected socks to the Talk pages they vandalized include copied warnings that were given to confirmed sock BLACKIEHINDU, possibly establishing a motive for the current vandalism and a connection between these suspected socks and that confirmed sock. My assumption is that there is a reason both of these vandals chose to paste those particular warnings onto the Talk pages in question. See diffs above. Dwpaul Talk 20:38, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Vanjagenije: I've reopened this SPI. We need to straighten out the two SPIs, this one and the one Dwpaul opened with Deadlystock as the master. With the exception of the master in this SPI, all of the accounts in both SPIs were created on March 18, 2015. All of the accounts are blocked. First, you need to decide whether the accounts are sufficiently connected to each other or whether a CU is needed. Second, once that process is complete, you should decide whether Undertrialryryr (stale) is connected to the new accounts behaviorally. Then we can move everything to one SPI with one master. Oy vey. Apparently Frost The World was the former name of CosmicEmperor, with a move to the new username on 4 February. The second account's username is the same written in Bengali script. I do feel that this account was created to attack users. The moment I showed my dissatisfaction with one of their GA nomination (no edit, now work, direct GA nomination), the second account came picture and attacked me. Could be meatpuppets . They don't look like socks. Similarities between the alphanumeric names 115ash and AHLM13 . Similar statements by AHLM13 and 115ash .Both supporting each other in talk page discussion of Bengali people with similar attitude. AHLM13-Created on 27 May 2014 , 115ash -Created on 12 June 2014 . 115ash is a better contributor. It is a honor for me to see this preposterous investigation. The creator of this investigation (who is a sockpuppet himself), created this investigation to take a vengeance in order to get me blocked again (I was previously blocked for two days due to an edit-war with him and also opened an investigation against him). AHML13 appears to be a recalcitrant editor (I'm not umbraging him). CosmicEmperor has not provided sufficient evidences, however I'll give other evidences which appear that AHLM13 seems to belong me. AHML13 joined Wikipedia before me, and my Username sounds a bit like his one. More, I moved his comment in order to catch other editors' carefulness. CosmicEmperor is right, I AM a BETTER EDITOR. This is the truth. I'm leaving the rest in the hands of Admins.

  • Comment Although Vanjagenije has commented and closed this, I still wanted to add a comment. AHLM13 and I have an adversarial relationship at times, but even at a cursory glance I would not consider them a sock of 115ash. They have very different editing styles and tendencies. They may share similar interests and hence similar articles, but absent anything else that's not evidence of sockpuppets. Given the totality, it's not even close to meat puppet territory.   • Comment Although almost closed, still I wand to add a few words. I know AHLM13 for almost one month, and our initial interaction was a little bit rough. Even at that period, AHLM13 never appeared to be any such thing which he has been accused of above. AHLM13 and 115ash's physical behavior is not suggestive of any sock-puppetry in any way. Also, their editing fields are basically different.   • CommentThose commenting above is trying to push the motive that this was sockpuppettry case. I mentioned at the beginning that they look like meatpuppets. Aditya's views which i myself noticed, prompted me to file this SPI. Even in meatpuppet investigation we need to file SPI. I don't know about CU warning myself but two users with similar names , almost similar timing of opening accounts ,similar comments, what does it look like? Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:CosmicEmperor/sandbox was being maintained by CosmicEmperor to accuse me and a few other editors of tag teaming. Later he was blocked for trolling, harrassing and socking. I nominated his sandbox for deletion. Very soon after, Tag Teaming appeared with a copy of the deleted sandbox which was likely saved by the master off wiki and posted it to ANI. On getting blocked, the second sock PKK has appeared copy pasting the same accusations in an attempt to canvass editors and forum shop. This is blatantly WP:DUCK and any sane editor would agree but my revert of the user's comment was reverted by another editor (though hatted) so I deemed it fit to put it on the SPI for everyone to see and judge for themselves. lTopGunl (talk) 20:25, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Would it be appropriate to request blanking of this section which is inherently a discussion between two socks (not asking for a rev-del, just as section blanking) [11], because it is gaming the system to repost the deleted contents of the sandbox mentioned above, again on a non-venue (and this time by a sock). Most likely a sleeper account. Dull till 2 February 2011. Yesterday came out of nowhere to support Big Hero 7 deletion discussion. Second scenario could be Undertrialyry , who is stalking CE by posing as him. CU results will show whether this is CE or ZORDANLIGHTER. Undertrialyry was the sleeper account. @BDD: The comments made in this deletion log gives clear suspicion that this is CE.

I assume the IP is a user who didn't log in? Regardless, this is obviously a sleeper account who just activated. Shortly after being reported here, this user reported a slew of established editors, many of whom (if not all) CE had interacted with. Some of them were among his final interactions on Wikipedia prior to being blocked. On top of this, this user has been editing various India-related topics, just as CE did, and has voted on an AfD for an article created by CE. Manner of speaking is similar as well. Looks like a duck to me. This editor is already blocked indefinitely as a sock but I'll tag it appropriately. Swarm we ♥ our hive 09:21, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This account came to my talk page and posted here, bragging about how he can fool the admins, cause us to get desysopped, and so on. He brought up CosmicEmperor so I'm posting this here, but it's also possible he could be related to Undertrialryryr since I'd posted on ANI about this recently.

I don't entirely remember interacting with any of the CosmicEmperor socks and I think that this was the most recent sockpuppet related encounter on Wikipedia, so this is why I think it might be Undertrialryryr related.   • Looks like they've been blocked, but given that I've had no direct interaction with CE, I'm kind of puzzled as to why he hit up my userpage.   •  Clerk declined. Tokyogirl79, why do you think this account has anything to do with CosmicEmperor? In his only edit, he clearly says that he was "posing as CE" (i.e. Cosmic Emperor) to make him look like sockpuppeteer. Vanjagenije (talk) 15:19, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • He's clearly someone's sockpuppet, but my concern is which sock drawer he belongs in. He was blocked for evasion but if he is trying to get one up on the admins, it'd probably be a good idea to see who he belongs to. Since I can't really run a request for a sockpuppet check without a name attached to it, I filed it under this one. I'm somewhat more concerned over his threats to impersonate administrators and other long term editors. I don't think he'll be overwhelmingly successful, but it is something to take into consideration. As far as the concern he could be Undertrialryryr, there's this bit from April where you questioned whether or not he could be Undertrialryryr because he said that he was. Considering that I interacted with Undertrialryryr yesterday (somewhat) via ANI and this was quickly followed up with the above post on my talk page, this does make me kind of wonder if there isn't a connection of sorts. Of course he could also be a bored kid looking to stir up trouble. Either way, I was wondering if this could be checked against CE's behavior since he also claimed responsibility for the edits done by these two IP accounts.   • This account came up in another check and is  Confirmed to Undertrialryryr. CheckUser says Undertrialryryr and Cosmic are Red X Unrelated but there could be a MEAT connection (we'd have no way of knowing). @Vanjagenije: I think Tokyogirl meant if CE and Undertrialryryr are connected, which doesn't need a CU to be run. First thing, I nominated CosmicEmperor's useless redirects on June 24, the user was blocked at the time. Then in return he nominated my redirects on June 28 from IP 74.120.223.141, and on July 2 from IP 27.62.31.241. BDD asked on both IPs talk pgaes if he is CosmicEmperor, and he answered "Yes I am the emperor. Ha Ha Ha Ha." from IP 74.120.223.141. Now today, the user vandalized my talk page by using abusive language in Hindi from the user name Капитаны өлтірген which means "killed captain" when I translated it at Google.   • AFAIK it wasn't blocked as a sock of CosmicEmperor. I simply tagged is as such after the fact. If you want to talk about logic, it did not make logical sense to me that Undertrial would return just to ask that his SPI be moved to what he feels is a "more correct" location; trying to clarify that Darthvader was him and not CE. In fact, contrary to being an obvious, logical thing to do, as you're implying, such behavior borders on insanity. Apparently he really is just insane though—it's CU confirmed so you can make the correction dude. This is nothing to get hung up on. Swarm we ♥ our hive 18:56, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is a brand new user who came to my user talk page to argue about Undertrialryryr's IP addresses [14]. We already know that Undertrialryryr likes to report his sockpuppets using other sockpuppets, and he's been pretty active in the last few days. So this user looks very suspicious. I'm not sure we have them all. Some of these accounts, particularly NewMutants, have made extensive deletion nominations that need to be looked at (I will say that some do indeed seem justified), but at least some of the articles seem to have been made by other sockpuppets , for example User:Poonaadraa, a sock of Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Premkoli99. Callanecc, there might be a relationship, for example, an attempt to remove traces of his own work. DGG ( talk ) 01:07, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
