Wonderful lunch spot near the riverwalk in downtown Pueblo.
Decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather to sit outside for lunch. There are shaded tables, plus the light breeze made it delightful. Service is friendly and quick.
House salad is well presented. A nice mix of freshly cut veggies. Reuben is excellent. The pastrami tastes smoked, which is a unique twist to this NY deli fan. It's hand-sliced thin, topped with sauerkraut and melted swiss, slathered with thousand island dressing and served on toasted rye. Very good rendition of this knife & fork sandwich.
Could resist chocolate lava cake. Because what's lunch without dessert??? :-)
It's a hockey-puck sized chocolate cake, covered with molten chocolate. Inside, the cavity is filled with more molten chocolate. For the chocoholic, this one is a must. Pro Tip - filling is HOT!
This is a great little spot. Try it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Adrien L.Downtown, Pueblo, CO0520Nov 29, 2024
Great tasting food. We enjoyed it!
Wish the young waiter would write down the order. I had a feeling she would forget something, asked if she was sure she got it all and she said ya and still forgot our appetizer. Other than that good experienceHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Glenna M.San Antonio, TX010Jan 10, 2025
Came on a Friday night at 7 pm. Wouldn't seat my family of 5 or offer a wait. I don't mind waiting. There was even a table open for 4 people and an empty table of 2. My 4 yo doesn't take up much room. But I guess that's too much work.

Food was incredible! We had the fried avacados and I would come back just for those delicious little flavor bombs. I also had the pear salad which was salad perfection. For entrees we had the fish special which was halibut and Steak au Poivre. Both excellent. Vibe was immaculate and the service was above and beyond. Also, the lemon drop and espresso martinees were icing on the cake. Absolutely recommend and will be back.

Traveled through and stopped in town for the weekend, got lucky and found this place! Sarah the General Manager was amazing, the service was stellar! Laid back easy going vibes while still retaining a very classy and vintage approach to dining. Ordered the crab cakes along with the crab claw appetizer and they were the both incredible. The main courses were both perfectly cooked and the quality blew us away. Both desserts followed suit in quality and perfect portion size. Allowed us to try all of the various dishes while still leaving full! Exactly what I would be looking for in a unique fine dinning experience. Will be coming back just for this place!

This is an update to my last review in 2022. The patio is even more shady than it was; trees are getting bigger. This time I had a Ruben - wonderful, the bread was lovely and lots of meat. French fries were crispy! Had Prosecco this time - with the little bottle. Still one of my favorite places in the Union Ave. District. Great service. If you have not gone, you should!

Very tasty! Lots of fresh greens, radishes, mushrooms, and grape tomatoes. Chicken was very well cooked. A glass of red wine finished out the lunch. Staff friendly and efficient. The food is very consistent. Highly recommend!

Best surf and turf I've had in a LONG time. We had the Triple Plate (steak, lobster tail, and crab cakes). The Brie Cheese for appetizer was very tasty. The homemade apple pie with vanilla ice cream was a great way to finish the meal.

A gem in Pueblo. The restaurant is quaint and they do a fantastic job posting menu options on Facebook, just tantalizing your brain to go in! They make delicious Bloody Mary's and their salads are a great portion size. We've had cocktails at night which were all masterfully crafted. We're lucky to have them around!
