I came to try the chefs award winning restaurant and left completely satisfied. I have not have cuisine this flavorful in so long! Every single dish was perfect to the plating, seasoning, and cleanliness. I highly recommend this gem located on the outskirts of Fort Worth.
For an appetizer I had the Truffle Mac And Cheese and added back and fresh jalapeños. The serving is for about 2 people and tastes like a creamy cheesy pasta.
For an entree I ordered Chicken And Waffles. This restaurant has had many awards for this dish and I was not disappointed. I would come back for that for brunch everyday if I could! It comes with a chipotle maple syrup it pairs perfect.
They serve crafts of bloody Mary's and mimosa. I would highly recommend this spot for brunch! Our server Deja took great care of us on Saturday and provided excellent recommendations.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Oct 17, 2022
We have come here a handful of times over the last few years - it is a getaway treat on our Ft. Worth staycations. This last weekend (10/16/22) was our most recent.
For food, we ordered the crawfish balls, the Big Tex sandwich, and the Fried Chicken Sandwich. Drinks were the mimosa and Bloody Mary usuals.
The drinks were great and well-priced. The food, unfortunately, was a little off from past visits.
Crawfish balls were excellent as always, but our main dishes were more meh. My chicken sandwich was oddly constructed and the lettuce was somewhat browning and not so fresh. The Big Tex was reported to be just okay.
We sat at the bar, though, and the service there was top-notch. Of course you get amazing service when the bartender has Star Wars tattoos. The nerd talk was on!
Hopefully for our next trip here, the food quality will be more like on our former visits. Everyone was great, though, from the hostess with the friendly greeting to our amazing bartender.Helpful 66Thanks 0Love this 54Oh no 0 - Oct 30, 2022Seated via Yelp Reservations
We all know brunch is the best meal of the day, so when you're visiting a new city, you have to check out one of their most popular brunch spots!
We came on a Saturday around 11:30 with a party of 5. We made reservations through Yelp the night before without any issues and were seated immediately. They even called 2 minutes prior to ensure we were on our way to get our table ready. The service the entire meal was friendly.
Seeing chilaquiles on the menu, I knew that's what I was to order. The corn ships drenched in red salsa, topped with a fried egg and avocado and feta was something I didn't see on menus often. It was quite the let down though. It wasn't bad, and the sauce was plentiful, but the flavor wasn't bold and left more to be desired. I do wish that more avocado was included. The best part was the runny egg, which was cooked to perfection.
My husband ordered the burger with waffle fries and that was delicious. The fries were crispy and fresh throughout almost the entire meal, and the burger was juicy and seasoned well. The fried onions added the perfect crunch.
Not sure I really see the big deal for this popular brunch spot, but overall it was a good meal.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 14, 2021Seated via Yelp Reservations
Was in the FTW area and wanted brunch with my friend, we found this place and I'm glad I stopped by. We were seated immediately as they weren't too crowded for brunch on a Sunday. Parking is relatively easy here. Our server was THE SWEETEST ever! I wish I caught her name but she radiated positivity, constantly checked up on us and made sure we had everything we needed.
Onto the food and and drink. I opted to grab their peach Moscow mule and it was very delicious. Some places make it unbalanced but this was just perfect. I got the the chicken and waffles and it was delicious! They offer 2 different portion sizes which I think is great. The small has 1 waffle and 1 chicken, while their large is double everything. Waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy as any good waffle should be. The chicken was moist and crispy but not entirely flavorful compared to other places. I had to have every bite with their spicy maple syrup. My friend said her chicken sandwich was quite good but the parmesan fries were definitely her favorite on the plate.
The menu here for brunch is relatively simple and small if I recall correctly. I would recommend stopping by if you're in the area. It's not outrageously special or mind blowing but this place has pretty good food.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 20, 2022
I sat here at the bar for happy hour with a friend! It was on a Tuesday, and not busy. It is a great happy hour though since they offer both $5 drink and food specials! I tried the frozen lemonade, which was a bit too frozen but the bartender added more vodka to compensate that, no complaints about that! The truffle macaroni was tasty as well. I just wish I got the flatbread instead since it was a better value and probably more filling.

Sundays and brunch are synonymous, Fixture has you covered!
I recently chose Fixture as my Sunday brunch spot & was pleasantly satisfied. From the patio seating, bar area, or main dining area, Fixture has enough space to host a small group or yourself. Sunday's tend to be busy, however bar seating is open & I was able to get in under 5mins.
Food wise, the menu has a variety of options, my item of choice was the Big Tex. Flakey, fluffy biscuit layered with a boneless chicken thigh, egg, thick cut bacon, & cheddar cheese .. oh & some AMAZING jalapeño gravy. Hesitant about the gravy, I opted to get it on the side. Sandwich can get a little messy, but it's worth it! Brunch ain't brunch without mimosa's .. you won't be disappointed with the pours!
Reservations recommended on Sundays. The restaurant & staff were excellent.. I'll be back again soon.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carrie P.Keller, TX01423Aug 28, 2022Seated via Yelp Reservations
Best brunch I've had in a long time was at Fixture today in the near Southside area! I had the watermelon cooler drink, very refreshing and not too heavy for the morning. The pork benedict was incredible!!!!!! Slow roasted pulled pork perfectly seasoned, paired with poached eggs and house made fluffy biscuits. All covered with green chili hollandaise sauce and a touch of pico de gallo! OMG! Great flavor combo, not spicy. My husband's breakfast enchilada was also amazing. Spicy pile of corn tortillas, meat, eggs, enchilada sauce. No pics because he mixed it all up into a delicious mess!
The patio was nice and shady with fans going, but not blowing napkins around. Fake plants for ambiance. Can't wait to try this place for dinner!!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 22, 2021
I love that I can quickly get on Yelp in a new town and find a good recommendation.
We stopped by fixture on my way through Fort Worth and I'm so glad we did! I'm sure there's a whole different vibe at this place in the evening compared to the day. We were there during their brunch and ordered the pulled pork Benedict. SO, so good. The sauce was everything and completely made the dish. Service was quick and kind. You can find free street parking across the street. Fun, quick visit!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Sep 30, 2022Updated review
I was so excited to revisit Fixture because the chicken and waffles I had my first visit were the best I'd had. I was disappointed with the way they turned out. On my first visit I opted for the chipotle maple syrup and it was amazing. And it pared so well with the chicken which was so delicious. It was juicy, seasoned so well and was amazing on its own. This second time around both the chipotle maple syrup and the chicken were not great. The chipotle syrup was really tangy and on the sour side. The chicken was somewhat dry and lacked that flavor that it had before. It's really sad when you find something amazing and discover that it's not consistent.
I will say that the service was good. The manger was really helpful and readily available, so when I wasn't able to spot my server, he was their to help out which I appreciated.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Jul 4, 2022Previous reviewFixture is a bit far from me but definitely worth the drive. I went for a friends birthday. They heard great things about their food so I was excited to try them out. I got the chicken and waffles. They were the best I have ever had. Their truffle mac and cheese are really good too. I enjoyed my food and mimosas so much. I'm still planning on my next visit.

I came here for a birthday dinner so I got to the bar early for happy hour. I read online that happy hour is at the bar and ends at 6. I was able to try the daiquiri which had lime, rum and sugar. Definitely prefer this type of daiquiri to the sugary fruity ones. I had two because it was that good. Consistent flavor each time.
For an appetizer I ordered the spinach and lobster dip. I didn't get a picture unfortunately. This spinach dip needs a lot more cheese. There was plenty of spinach and chunks of lobster so amazing start but spinach dip should be creamy. I recommend adding cream cheese to the dip and topping it with mozzarella and Parmesan.
For dinner I had the cheesesteak with waffle fries. This sandwich was served with an au jus for dipping. As a result I think they made the bread very crispy toasty to withstand dunking. It makes sense but I didn't dunk my sandwich after tasting the au jus. It was salty to my taste so I just had the sandwich and fries. I would have preferred my bread to have been softer and with a little Mayo.
Overall I gave three stars. My drinks were 10/10. The bartender was on point. The food was average to me. Not bad not outstanding but I would come back if invited again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
