Our story began in New York's Chinatown. Inspired by the constant innovation of the city, we decided to fuse sweet soups in traditional Hong Kong style with modern desserts. Only the most sophisticated cooking methods and finest ingredients (including all the freshest mangoes) are used to create handcrafted desserts like our Mango Mochi, Green Tea Mille Crepe, Durian Dessert Bowl, and Mo Mo Cha Cha. Every item is prepared with care to contain just the right amount of sweetness and is served in an atmosphere thoughtfully designed for leisure and relaxation.

I heard about this dessert place through a friend and I guess mango desserts are the new trend since these joints are popping up all over NYC. This is my favorite dessert place thus far. I went in to get a mango sago dessert to go and was greeted by a super friendly girl. I loved the service as it was attentive, nice and honest. She asked if I wanted the ice cream separate and when I said yes, she made sure to let me know there was an extra charge. Got to love the clarity.
I didn't wait too long for my dessert but as I waited, the place started to get crowded quick. I got my dessert in a cute container and it stayed cool as a cucumber when I decided to eat it 20 minutes later. The ice cream as in tact and everything meshed really well. The dessert was cold, creamy and the ice cream made the difference! It has mango, grapefruit, tapioca, mango juice, coconut and mango ice cream. It was heaven. I would definitely return to this place. If you can, take it to go so you can enjoy it at the perfect cold temperature because it is pretty icy once you order it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 31, 2014
Get the mango pomelo sago! You won't regret it.
Mango combo A: slush-o, mochi, and sago which is great option if it's your first visit and you have no clue what to order.
I've been trying to get their early enough for combo B with fresh fruit sago but they always seem to be out of it.
It's a small shop with 3/4 tiny tables and can probably seat about 6-8. If you're not down with rubbing shoulders with strangers consider ordering to-go!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Fran W.Manhattan, NY2166529Apr 27, 2019

Where did we go wrong, where do we belong?
My friend introduced me to Mango Mango for a quick dessert spot. He raved about the infamous snow white mango slush, but I was more in the mood for an icecream treat.
There are A LOT of choices on the menu, I wasn't really sure which option to pick so I asked the kind staff what she would recommend for an ice cream treat.
I got the ice cream sundae but they only had vanilla flavor for the ice cream. Nothing too unique, just scoops of ice cream with mangos decorated around it.
I would definitely come back to try their more popular items and maybe for the snow white mango slush.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Michael N.Staten Island, NY48156491Aug 30, 2019
I love their mango drinks and their desserts. I usually order the mango slush for $5. I also like their mango pancake. It's a really cute dessert place.

This is an unassuming restaurant within the heart of Chinatown. It is so small that we walked past it a couple of times before finding it. This is a pretty good place for dessert and fresh fruit.
Decor:
Considering that this small shop is located in Chinatown, I would not expect something fine and extravagant. It was a very narrow and small dessert shop, maybe only the size of a large walk-in closet. The right side of the wall was covered with pictures of the menu items, while the left side featured a couple small seating areas. The ordering window was in the back as a small desk.
Food:
We ordered two dishes which featured mangos. One was a cold fruit slushy type bowl with mangos, watermelon, rice balls, and other tropical fruits. It was definitely made from fresh fruit, although it was super cold with way too much ice. The other dish we ordered was basically the same thing expect in a smoothie drink form.
Service:
The menu was extremely vast with almost any and every combination of a few fruits. Considering that the two items we ordered had pretty different descriptions on the menu, but contained the same ingredients and tasted very similar, I would just go with anything on the featured wall of menu items.
Overall, I would visit Mango Mango again during the Spring or Summer. The freshness of fruit is a key to the refreshing taste of their desserts, so off seasons would be less flavorful.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kitty H.Brooklyn, NY18532Jul 19, 2019
Staff is very attentive and the space is clean. The food is as good as it looks and it's definitely a must try in Chinatown. Price is affordable too!

The servers were so friendly and helpful; let me customize my order. The dessert is not extremely sweet and is very refreshing!

Order D1 snow white mango slush-o! Perfect on a hot and humid day! Refreshing mango slush with creamy coconut top. I love how they topped the drink with fresh diced mango pieces. Just the perfect amount of sweetness, not syrupy and fake tasting like some Asian desserts/drinks.
Service is fast! I sat down and drink was ready before I could get comfy!
I'd definitely come to Mango Mango again to try the sago soup and glutinous rice series!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
