Janelle’s 5-star review: SO MANY GREAT FLAVORS!! Sundaes Best just opened up in Ktown, and they offer a wide variety of unique Asian inspired gelato flavors. The workers were so nice and kind enough to let us try nearly every flavor! My favorites were the banana milk, miso caramel, melona, plum, and chocopie! Everything we tried was so so good, I 100% will be coming back to try more flavors! The small size was $6.50 and comes with 2 scoops, you can have up to 2 flavors for that size. There's a couple tables outside to enjoy your gelato. It's definitely worth all the hype it's been getting. I highly highly recommend this location if you're craving something sweet in Ktown! -

Janelle’s 5-star review: I really enjoyed the Matcha Latte Float from Maiko Matcha! I'm a big fan of soft serve ice cream so I had to try their Matcha & Calpico swirl (which is a combo ive never seen anywhere else!) They whisk the matcha to order and it has the perfect earthy flavor to it. The flavors are very vibrant and it doesn't get watered down as it melts. The Matcha & Calpico swirl paired so well in the matcha latte. It's very smooth and creamy, and also not too sweet! It's a pretty big serving, so I'd recommend sharing with another person (or don't lolol). I'm gonna have to come back and try other items on the menu! It's a small storefront and it's also inside Kyuramen. They have a counter inside but no seats, there's 2 small benches outside. They staff is also very friendly and patient :) -
Possibly the ~best~ gelato in the city, cute interior, quick service, and AMAZING flavors!Janelle’s 5-star review: I think this is my new favorite gelato spot in the city! There was a long line that stretched across the store on a warm summer day but it went by quickly. We shared a regular cup (~$8). The cup is tiny but ~mighty~! They definitely do not skimp on the portions and we basically had a gelato tower. We chose the cookieman and hazelnut chocolate crunch flavors. The hazelnut was pure perfection and we loved the crunchy texture! I also thought the wafers were an extra topping but they come with the gelato! They added 2 wafers for us to share :) They have so many unique flavors to choose from. I'm gonna have to make a trip to their Flatiron location which is closer to me so I can try all the flavors! The store itself is so cute with its mint green interior and neon signage. There's also plenty of seats indoors and outdoors! -
My favorite bingsu! So creamy and not like shaved ice (like how other bingsu are), lots of seating, so great to enjoy with friends :) -

A staple for a mango sweet tooth, everything is a banger 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼Janelle’s 5-star review: If you are a fan of mangoes, you have got to come check out Mango Mango! I have been coming here for the past two years and I never get tired of it. They have so many dessert options from sticky rice, sundaes, sago, and crepes! My boyfriend and I usually share their Combo B, which comes with 2 sago dishes and the mango pancake which is just perfection. It's usually busy at night, especially on the weekends! Mango Mango has unique interior design as well as unique artisan dishes from a local ceramicist. It would be a great place to grab dessert with friends or for a date. -
Although Kith isn’t really an ice cream shop, their ice cream flavors are banger if you are a fan of cereal!! -

A true soft serve staple 🤝🏼 my go-to order: Taro matcha swirl with fruity pebbles and caramel!Janelle’s 4-star review: I am a big fan of soft serve ice cream and Surreal Creamery is my go-to spot for just that. My go-to combo is the ube and matcha swirl in a cup (I have too many souvenir mugs at this point) with fruity pebbles, marshmallows, and caramel. They offer a wide variety of flavors and they also have their own combinations on the menu. Surreal is great for those with sweet tooths! They also do a "Flotea" which is the soft serve in a milk tea of your choice. It comes with A LOT so share with a friend LOL. Their milk teas and boba are pretty average; the main star is their soft serve. The shop itself is pretty small, there's no seating but it's a quick walk to Washington Square Park to enjoy your treat. -
Janelle’s 4-star review: Amorino has a lot of gelato and sorbet flavors to choose from! They also serve coffee, crepes, waffles and other pastries. You can ask them to make your gelato look like a rose which I pretty fun! You can also add a macaron for extra. Overall, Amorino has really good flavors of gelato but the only negative comment I have is that the servings are pretty small. The staff is really nice and patient; they allow you to try out flavors before making a final decision! The inside is also very spacious and is decorated nicely. There's a couches and a few tables inside and usually 2 tables outside. -
AMAZING. BEAUTIFUL. CHEF’S KISS. The panna whipped cream is a game changer. One for the sweet tooths forsure!Janelle’s 5-star review: Super cute ice cream spot in Gramercy!! There's usually a long line, but it is completely worth it. I got the Aud's Dream and my boyfriend got the Red Flag. I really like that the toppings and drizzle were included with the ice cream. Don't forget to add the Panna topping, its a very light whipped cream imported from Italy and is an excellent addition to their ice cream. They are only open from Wednesday to Sunday, so keep that in mind, because I've definitely made the trip to get ice cream on one of their off days, it's just that good!
