On the run? Don’t want dirty dishes? Have a sweet tooth? Superhero mug cake to the rescue! For those of you who don’t quite have the time to make a full-fledged cake, we’d like to introduce you to our super easy, super yummy Coffee Cup Chocolate Cake.
Whisk together all dry ingredients. Whisk in milk and oil until batter is smooth. Pour into a ceramic mug and add the drop of Nutella into the middle of the batter.
Place the mug on a plate in case of overspill (our microwaveable Zakwave plates (not pictured) would be a perfect contender for the task). Be sure to keep an eye on the mug for potential overflow of cake (but, hey, when has an overflow of cake ever been a bad thing?). Place the mug and plate into the microwave and set to 70 seconds. Remember that all microwaves are different, so watching the progress of your cake is a good idea.
Now, simply grab and fork and a mug of coffee and enjoy the simply divine creation that you just made in a MUG! Congrats, you.
If you’re feeling extra adventurous, we’d recommend putting a dollop of whipped cream on the top. Studies have shown that it will make you feel special*.
