Overview
The Gibson Memphis Limited Edition 1963 ES335 TDC model in a striking Sixties Cherry finish. By the mid '60s the ES-335 body shape had evolved to take on more elegant cutaways with slim horns. Pearl fingerboard blocks are a hallmark of the second-gen ES-335 design. Matched 550K potentiometers contribute to accurate vintage tone! The neck is attached with hot hide glue, as are the quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce top braces. Our historic truss rod has no tube, a proven known to enhance the guitar's resonance and sustain. These accurate PAF clones use Alnico magnets and mismatched coils for that characteristic complexity and bite. Using fret wire of precise vintage specs delivers an accurate '63 playing feel! Nitrocellulose lacquer given our propietary VOS treatment spotlights this guitar's accurate Historic colors.
