The Ibanez GA35TCE features a spruce top and sapele back and sides that help enhance the guitar's warm, robust tone. This crystal clear classical also includes an under saddle pickup, as well as the AEQ210T preamp for maximum tone. I own quite a few different brands and types of guitars; my collection covers a broad spectrum. This guitar has worked out very well for me thus far. It gives me the warm nylon string tone I'm looking for, while also providing the ability to plug in or not. The shape and feel is great. I was a bit concerned that it might be too small for me, but was pleased to find that it is sized quite appropriately. When comparing the sound-level production to a full bodied classical guitar, I would say that this produces a sound-level of somewhere around 80% of your typical non-electric acoustic. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. It's a great guitar with an added bonus of built-in tuner (works great!).
