빌리란(IPA: [b'lirɐn]), 공식적으로 빌리란 시(Waray: Bangto han Billran; Cebuano: Lungsod sa Biliran, Tagalog: 바얀 ng 빌리란)은 필리핀 빌리란 지방의 5급 자치단체다. 2020년 인구조사에 따르면 인구는 1만7662명이다. [3] 그 도시의 대중들은 주로 와레이를 말한다.

지리

빌리란은 빌리란 성의 관문 역할을 한다. 빌리란 섬과 빌리란 다리를 거쳐 레이테를 잇는 지방 남부에 위치한다. 정부는 더 나은 연결을 위해 옛 다리와 평행인 다리를 하나 더 추가할 계획이다.[5]

필리핀 통계청에 따르면, 이 자치단체는 70.30 평방 킬로미터(27.14 평방 미터- 206.95 평방 미터)의 면적이 빌리란 전체 면적의 13.12%를 차지하고 있다.

교통

빌리란 다리

마르코스 대통령 재임 중에 건설된 빌리란 다리는 레이테 섬과 섬 지방 전체에 걸쳐 유일하게 육지로 접근할 수 있는 곳이다. 1975년경 완공된 이 다리는 길이가 약 150m이며, 넓은 40m의 저조도로 측정되는 짧고 좁은 수로의 위를 맴도는 아치형 철골 구조물에 의해 주경간이 위치한다.[20]
