데스몬드 엘리엇 (Desmond Oluwashola Eliot; 1974년 2월 4일 출생)은 나이지리아의 배우, 감독, 정치인으로서[2][3] 200편이 넘는 영화와 다수의 텔레비전 쇼와 연속극에 출연했다.[4] 제2회 아프리카 매직 뷰어 초이스 어워즈에서 드라마 부문 최우수 조연상을 수상했으며, 제10회 아프리카 무비 아카데미 시상식에서 최우수 조연상 후보에 올랐다. 2015년 4월 11일 나이지리아 총선에서 라고스 주 의회 의원인 술룰레르 선거구의 국회의원으로 선출되었다.

초년기

엘리엇은 라고스 섬의 올로오그보우에서 요루바인 아버지, 델타 주 오시마리 북부의 일라에서 태어났다.[5] 그는 공군소학교에서 초등교육을 받았고 이후 두 곳 모두 조스에 있는 세인트존스 칼리지에 다녔다. 라고스 주립 대학교에서 경제학을 공부했고 2003년에 졸업했다.[6]

경력

정치

사생활

엘리엇은 결혼했고 4명의 아이가 있다.[12] 그는 글로바콤의 홍보에 관여하고 있다.[12][22]

데스몬드 엘리엇은 2018년 12월 26일 아내 빅토리아 엘리엇과 결혼 15주년을 맞았다.[23]
