게라르도 스타니나(C. 1404–1408)가 필라델피아 미술관에서 쓴 '성모종의 도미션'
게라르도 스타니나(Gherardo Starnina, 1360–1413)[1]는 콰트로센토 시대의 플로렌스 출신의 이탈리아 화가였다.
전기 작가 조르지오 바사리에 따르면 스타니나는 처음에 안토니오 베네치아노와 함께 훈련했고, 그 후 아그놀로 카디와 함께 훈련했다. 그는 피렌체 바실리카 디 산타 크로스의 카스텔라니 예배당에서 프레스코화를 그리는 데 참여했다고 주장되고 있다. 또한 그는 카스티야의 후안 1세 밑에서 일하기 위해 1380년 스페인으로 이주했다고 전해지며, 톨레도 성당의 산블라스 예배당에서 일부 그림을 그린 것으로 전해진다.
이전에 밤비노 비스포의 사부에게 귀속되었던 여러 그림은 현재 게라르도 스타니나에게 귀속되고 있으며, 두 예술가는 같은 인물이었을지도 모른다.[2]
