해럴드 휘태커
Harold Whitaker해롤드 잭슨 휘태커(Harold Jackson Whitaker, 1920년 6월 5일 – 2013년 12월 26일)는 영국의 애니메이터로, 크레딧에는 1954년의 애니멀 팜, 1981년의 헤비메탈이 포함되었다.[1]그는 처음에 앤슨 다이어에서 일했고, 할라스와 배첼러의 애니메이터로 30년을 보냈다.[1]그는 1954년에 애니멀 팜을 각색했다.[2]
휘태커는 1920년 6월 5일 이스트 요크셔의 코팅엄에서 태어났다.그는[1] 맨체스터에서 자랐고 매클스필드 미술학교에서 그림을 공부했다.[1]
1981년 휘태커는 《애니메이션의 타이밍》이라는 책을 출판했다.[1]애니메이션의 타이밍은 2002년에 다시 출판되어 픽사 스튜디오의 사장인 존 라세터가 쓴 소개를 포함시켰다.[1]
Whitaker later worked as an animator and storyboard artist on several films such as The Magic Voyage, Stowaways on the Ark, The Twelve Tasks of Asterix, Doctor in the Sky, When the Wind Blows, Wilhelm Busch – Die Trickfilm-Parade: Max und Moritz und andere Streiche and the television series The Dreamstone and Poddington Peas.
휘태커는 2013년 12월 26일 93세의 나이로 세상을 떠났다.[1]
