Jeremy Ashkenas는 CoffeeScript와 LiveScript 프로그래밍 언어, Backback.js JavaScript 프레임워크, Undercore.js JavaScript 라이브러리의 생성과 공동창제로 잘 알려진 컴퓨터 프로그래머다.[1][2][3] 뉴욕타임스 그래픽 부서에서 근무하면서 2015년 제럴드 롭 이미지스/그래픽스/인터액티브 상을 공동 수상했다.[4] 타임즈에서 일한 후, 그는 옵저버블 주식회사의 직원이었다. 2020년 현재 그는 Substack Inc.에서 일하고 있다.[5]
