마요와 니콜라스는 2014 Elite Model Look 콘테스트의 결승 진출자였다(이탈리아 모델 그레타 발리스와 함께).[5][6]

2015년 첫 런웨이 시즌에는 발맹, 발렌시아가, 캘빈클라인, 겐조, 에르메스, 여드름 스튜디오 등의 쇼에 출연했다.[7]더 최근에 그녀는 프라다, 미우 미우, 베르사체, 샤넬, 마이클 코르스, 오스카 드 라 렌타 같은 유명 디자이너들과 함께 일해왔다.[8][9][10][11]그녀는 돌체 & 가바나 캠페인에 주연을 맡기도 했다.[12]
