멘딥은 영국 서머셋의 지방 정부 구역이다.이 지역은 약 112,500명의 [3]인구를 가진 285평방마일(738km2)[3]의 대부분 시골 지역에 걸쳐 있으며, 동쪽의 윌트셔 경계에서 서쪽의 서머셋 평원의 일부에 이른다.그 지역은 북서쪽에 위치한 멘디프 언덕에서 이름을 따왔다.이 지역의 행정 중심지는 셉톤 말렛이지만 가장 큰 도시(셉톤 말렛보다 3배 더 크다)는 프롬이다.

지형학
