Netball Victoria는 호주 Victoria에서 Netball을 관리하는 기관이다.호주 넷볼에 소속되어 있다.선코프 슈퍼넷볼에 출전하는 엘리트 레벨 팀 멜버른 빅센스를 조직하고 관리하는 역할을 맡고 있다.빅토리안 넷볼 리그는 물론 수많은 다른 리그와 주니어 및 유소년 팀을 위한 대회를 조직하고 관리하는 역할도 맡고 있다.그 본부는 주 넷볼과 하키 센터에 기반을 두고 있다.

역사

네트볼은 1913년까지 빅토리아 초등학교에서, 1915년까지 빅토리아 고등학교에서 연주된 것으로 여겨진다.1922년 루지 밀스와 노니 하디는 경쟁적으로 넷볼을 하고 싶어했다.YMCA에서 일했던 이 커플은 경기에 관심이 있는 소녀들을 위한 모임을 소집했다.거기서부터 멜버른 여자 농구 협회가 결성되었다.게임은 1923년 5월에 6개 팀이 경합하여 시작되었다.그 다음해까지 12개 팀이 있었다.[6]1928년 멜버른 여자 농구 협회가 빅토리안 여자 농구 협회(VWBA)로 변모했다.이후 그들은 팀을 조직하여 1928년 9월 멜버른에서 열린 제1회 호주 전국 네트볼 선수권 대회에 참가하였다.빅토리아는 취임식에서 우승했다.1970년에 VWBA는 빅토리아 네트볼 협회로 이름을 바꾸었다.[7][8]
