바디아는 인도 구자라트 주에 있는 바나칸타 지구의 마을이다. 팔란푸르 시에서 서쪽으로 70마일, 아메다바드에서 서쪽으로 약 240킬로미터(150마일) 떨어진 곳에 위치해 있다.[1]
역사적으로 이 마을의 미혼 여성들은 매춘을 통해 자신을 부양했고, 마을의 남자들은 포주 노릇을 했다.[1][2]
