울라이 구 (아타얄:울레이; 중국어: 烏來區; 핀인:우라이큐; 페허오이주(Peh-oe-ju: U-lai-khu)[2]는 대만 북부 뉴 타이베이 시 남부에 있는 산악 토착 지구다.타이베이와의 국경 근처에 위치하고 있으며 온천으로 유명하다.[3]뉴 타이베이에서 가장 큰 지역이자 가장 산이 많은 지역으로 원주민인 아타얄족이 거주하고 있다.

이름

이 마을의 이름은 개울가에서 사냥하는 아타얄 사냥꾼이 개울에서 나오는 안개를 보고 "덥고 독하다"는 뜻의 아타얄 구절에서 유래되었다.[4]

역사

이전에는 일본 통치 기간 동안 타이호쿠 현 하의 "아보존 지역"으로 분류되었다.1945년 대만이 일본에서 중화민국으로 이양된 후, 우라이는 타이베이 현의 시골 읍으로 조직되었다.

2001년 6월 22일 천수이볜 총통이 지역 학교를 방문해 졸업식을 주관했다.[5]

2010년 12월 25일 타이베이 현을 뉴 타이베이 시라는 특별 시로 격상하고 울라이를 지구로 격상하였다.

2015년 8월, 우라이는 태풍 수델로르에 의해 황폐화 되어 여러 개의 호텔을 소실하고 이 지역의 온천을 파괴했다.구역을 지나는 난시강의 코스가 바뀌었고, 밀려드는 물 때문에 강둑이 심하게 침식됐다.[3]이번 산사태는 하천 주변 산악지대가 과도하게 발달해 경사지 일대 토사와 분수령이 훼손된 데 따른 것으로 분석됐다.[6]

행정 구역

울라이 구는 다섯 개의 도시 마을로 나뉜다.[7][8][9]

관광명소

울라이는 온천, 관광, 원주민 문화로 가장 유명한 관광 도시다.다른 활동으로는 하이킹, 캠핑, 수영, 낚시, 조류 관찰 등이 있다.봄에는 벚꽃이 피는 것을 구경하러 온다.현지인들에 따르면 무취 온천에서 목욕하는 것은 피부병(지렁이, 습진, 헤르페스 등)을 치료할 수 있다고 한다.

우라이 구는 타이베이 메트로의 신디안 역에서 우라이 버스 종착역까지 신디안 버스가 접근할 수 있다.[15]

지방도 9호선 9A 분기선이 그 지역을 통과한다.[16]

레일

이 지구에는 또한 일본 시대에 건설된 개조한 광산 열차인 '울라이 풍경 열차'가 있는데, 이 열차는 울라이 폭포 기지의 명소로 방문객들을 데려다 준다.
