"From Ferrus" is an Item in Spirit Tracks.[1] As its name suggests, it is a Letter from Ferrus.

Location and Uses

"From Ferrus" can be collected from any Postbox after Link has delivered Mega Ice to Goron Village, dousing the Lava Geysers that blocked access to the village's homes. Ferrus writes that he is out photographing Armored Trains and suggests that Link pay him a visit. The Letter includes a picture of a location in the Snow Realm. It reads,

Tell me, does this place
look familiar to you?
I'm over here trying to
snap some shots of an
awesome armor-plated
version of that new train!

I'll be around here for a
while, so come pay a visit
if you get a chance. That
would be sweet.
Your buddy,
Ferrus

The location in the photo can be deduced as the southwest area of the Spirit Tracks outside of the Snow Temple. Link can drive the Spirit Train to this location and meet with Ferrus, who asks the young engineer if he could be taken to meet his hero and all-time favorite engineer, Alfonzo.[2] Link can choose to drive Ferrus to Aboda Village to meet Alfonzo, for which he will be rewarded with Force Gem 11.[3]

You could introduce me to him! I carry a pen and paper on me at all times just for situations like these. So, please please please take me to get my hero's autograph.
