Eurobricks member Jacob_9821 has been on a roll this weekend, posting images of 76067 Tanker Truck Takedown yesterday and ones of 75158 Rebel Combat Frigate today! This Star Wars Rebels set has only been known about for a few days but a couple of images have already been revealed.

As expected, the set is based on Phoenix Home, the repurposed Pelta-class frigate which was used as the rebel flagship in the opening episode of season two before being destroyed by Darth Vader. Five minifigures are included; the most notable of which are Commander Jun Sato and the much-anticipated Ahsoka Tano!

You will find a box image and further analysis after the break.

I have been looking forward to seeing a Pelta-class frigate in an official set since the first season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where this vessel initially appeared, so was delighted to see the craft used again in Rebels. Unfortunately I am a little disappointed by the result as the model suffers from a number of issues relating to accuracy, as you can see when comparing it with the image below. However, I like the front half of the ship very much and the minifigure selection is excellent, although I was hoping for a Seventh Sister to go with the Fifth Brother included in 75157 Captain Rex's AT-TE.

We do not yet know how much the set will cost but I would imagine it will be in the region of £99.99 in the UK or $99.99 in the US.

Share your thoughts on the set in the comments below.

By in Netherlands,

dissapointing, yet again no 1000 pieces+ star wars set this year.
but it looks kind of cool.

By in United Kingdom,

Still waiting for the Death Star pics and info though!

Gravatar
By in United States,

"A number of issues"? I must be looking at a different ship. Only so much they can do at the scale. I guess it's too short and the colours are off, but I'm not seeing anything else. Ok yeah, it is sort of inaccurate. XD

But all these reveals are making me so hyped for that Death Star....

By in United Kingdom,

Hopefully '76060 - Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum' is next up :D

Gravatar
By in United States,

The set looks pretty bland, I don't watch Rebels though so I guess it's not a surprise it doesn't interst me. Ahsoka looks alright from the picture.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I'll definitely be hitting up Bricklink for that Ahsoka figure.

The rest: bleeeeeeeeeeeeh

By in United Kingdom,

@Teriyaqi - Based on these images alone the shape of the hull is inaccurate, the colour scheme looks pretty poor and the bridge does not resemble what is seen in the show.

Having said that, I don't dislike the set and will certainly be purchasing it. There are numerous issues which should be acknowledged though.

By in United States,

I actually like this set very much. It's a nice adaption of the vessel. Of course it couldn't be in full minifigure scale unless it were a UCS set eventually, which is quite unlikely. Getting!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Shame Ahsoka's sabers are blue and not white. Been waiting for a rebels figure of her for a while though.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I've been waiting this set so long! I'm very excited now, since I was thinking Lego would never create it! And finally I see a decent model, with some inaccuracies, yes, but that overall resembles Phoenix Home and that contains very interesting minifigures, like Sato and Ahsoka that we haven't yet seen. I think that a starships lover like me can be satisfied about 75158.

Now I'll wait for Arquitens-class light cruiser (or Imperial light cruiser), Hammerhead corvette and Quasar Fire-class carrier...

By in France,

Not really accurate to the genuine model.
Only Ahsoka and Sato are worth of interest to me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

i'm fairly happy with the build given it's a non-ucs set. i'd much rather it be ucs since it's actual size is tailor made for it. finally a grown-up Ahsoka, but why not white blades?

By in Canada,

I will be buying this. The 2 new minifigs are the main draw but the ship isn't bad either. I'd like to see it from a few more angles including the engines on the back.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I love the minifigs but the model is pretty mediocre. I'll definitely buy the Ahsoka and Commander Sato figures individually but could be persuaded by the set if it costs about £80.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

This is standard for any ship appearing in LEGO form for the first time. They figure it will sell on the strength of the minifigs and the fact that it exists. Leaves some room to improve it for the inevitable remake.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Wow, what an ugly piece of junk.

By in United States,

@ CapnRex101 As always your views are on the mark and not full of fluff to cover for TLGs. My only issue with this set is the scale it should be a 1,550+ piece set to make it a decent set for scale and play-ability. This is no 9515 Malevolence, which I also thought could have had a higher piece count, include another ship. Only reason to get is for Ahsoka or as been stated get her in Bricklink.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I love when Star Wars sets aren't just gray triangles. Hopefully it isn't too expensive/goes on sale soon.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

It looks like Ahsoka has some new curved lightsaber hilts... nice!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Awesome to see grown up Ahsoka! I think the ship looks pretty cool, and I like the color scheme. I love the Rebels sets so may have to get this, not sure, but definitely will be getting Ahsoka somehow.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

@nate-dog7 those are actually really old, first appeared as asajj ventress's lightsaber hilts

Gravatar
By in United States,

Maybe a little bit on the stubby side, but it looks pretty darn good. It's nice to see some less iconic ships (read: another Millennium Falcon) that you could work in to pretty much any Star Wars set-up being made, especially at what I hope will be a reasonable price. If it does stick to a ~$100 dollar price tag, it'll be pretty tempting.

Oh, and the minifigs aren't half bad either. I can't claim a particular affinity for the characters since I don't watch Rebels, but they still look good. As a side note on the construction, though, I might need to mod those wing-things, depending on how empty they look from the back.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I honestly don't think the color scheme is very far off, as well as the shaping of the model. I will agree that the cockpit is a little shorter than it should be, but overall I am very pleased with this set on the whole. The piece count leads me to believe it will be $100, but knowing star wars lately it'll probably go around $110-120. I agree that the seventh sister should have been included, and I don't know what other set they could release with her in it. Maybe a season 2 phantom thats been updated like in the show with Zeb and the seventh sister. Speaking of Zeb, he is the only main character to not be released this year, which makes me even more annoyed and that he should have been in the At-te set instead of the stormtrooper that is included. That being said, Its a day one buy for me like the other rebels sets. Really excited for its release, hope its in June, but I have a feeling it might be an august release. Guess we will see.

By in United States,

@CapnRex101: Yeah, I see what you're saying now. I thought you were much more negative in the original post.

Gravatar
By in United States,

i dont really like the set, but im glad we finally have the ashoka minifig. if they didnt add her and Sato, NOBODY would want this

Gravatar
By in United States,

This set was only created so they could have Ashoka in a super-high priced set.

Disappointed, LEGO.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is Chopper identical to his debut in 75048 Phantom from 2014? Looks the same but I can't tell for sure.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'd want this if Ahsoka and Sato were in it or not. I love this set and is a must buy!!!! Will be great to put beside my Imperial Assault Carrier.

Gravatar
By in United States,

What did they do to Ahsoka!! Snips, nooooooo!!! They ruined her sabers!! They're white for pity's sake! Not dark blue!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Waaait... not sure if this has been said already, but on the lower right corner of the box, it looks like Ahsoka might have a white saber...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Finally something to battle my malevolence
Any pics of interior?

Gravatar
By in United States,

You naysayers are nuts! I'm not even a 'Rebels' fan and I think it looks stellar!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I think it looks great! Couple of plate changes and you've got yourself a nice Republic Medical Frigate

Gravatar
By in Australia,

No Seventh Sister? NOOOO!!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Just a thought. The sabers appear to be white in the box art but they've used dark blue for the pic of the set as white sabers would 'disappear' within the white background of the pic?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ship looks decent, Ezra is still very inaccurate, Ashoka is nice but needs white sabers. Much as I'd like an Ahsoka minifigure, the TIE and A-Wing set is so much better build-wise, so I'll pass.

Gravatar
By in Singapore,

This looks pretty good! Does anyone know when will this set be released for sale? I would like to modify it into a republic medical frigate or a Sith inspired assault frigate. But i guess ultimately, i would wait for the death star and see which gives me more bang for my buck.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The build is fine, but do we honestly need another agent Kallus? We already got him in two other sets. They should have included someone like the seventh sister.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Hm. Not sure whether or not this would be worth me selling my 2014 Star Destroyer and/or AT-AT for, as I had planned...

Gravatar
By in United States,

The basic shape is decent, although not exactly accurate. Not sure why they added an extra 3 astromech head pieces on the sides (greebles gone crazy!). I'd love to see it from a few more angles, like isn't there supposed to be a runway for the A-Wings on the bottom? Of course that would be very difficult to do at this scale. It could have used another 1000 pieces and a few miniaturized A-Wings. The figs are a bit bland, very excited for Sato and grown-up Ahsoka, but we don't need another Kallus, Ezra, or Chopper. Would've been an excellent opportunity to add a Seventh Sister and/or Brother (Sith in training lol). Overall I will definitely purchase this set though, although not at 120.00 (sorry guys that's my over-priced prediction based on the increasing price trend of Disney SW Lego).

Gravatar
By in United States,

As a big fan of the Rebels show, I'm happy to see any sets inspired from its material. This set however is kind of lacking . . . and I can't see why they would give Ahsoka blue light sabers? In the show her sabers are clearly white . . . as it has been pointed out by the show creators that she is not Jedi or Sith. How hard could it have been to give her white or clear light saber blades?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I stand corrected, as Brickset has US price listed at 90.00. That is definitely a good value and I can't wait to add this to my collection... btw does anyone have the down low on buying cheap shelving in bulk lol?

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

If this is indeed $90 US I will be adding this ship to my collection as my Rebel Army needs some assistance in space.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Does anyone with more SW knowledge than me know if this scale is even consistent with 75053, The Ghost, for some side-by-side docking action?

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is a VERY good set. I am faithful that the interior will feature some key elements from the show. The Ahsoka minifigure is AMAZING. This will pair great with A-Wing and TIE Advanced set!

Gravatar
By in United States,

^
^
I don't have the Ghost but I would assume based on previous lego sets that the ghost would be 2/3 the length of the ship, making the two not similar in scale
with lego, bigger the vehicle, smaller the scale

Gravatar
By in United States,

Honestly, it's a nice set, but not one that I would buy. Also, the mini-figure selection is lame. The only interesting one is obvious. It's probably the only reason anyone would buy this set. I feel like they just made this and threw Ahsoka in it like "hey, you can get Ahsoka if you buy this expensive set". No thanks, I'll just buy her separately. Sorry, but this ship doesn't feel significant enough to be worth whatever the price is that they come up with.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I do not really recognize the ship. There are too many differences in the shape of the hull and the colors. The stripes for example should have been orange and light yellow not dark red and sand.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yay we get Ashoka

Gravatar
By in United States,

Three reasons I won't buy this set. 1. no money 2.I've never seen nor wish to see the Rebels show. and
3. it just doesn't look that cool too me. but if y'all wanna go out and get it its your choice.
