BXP has announced that law firm Goodwin has signed a lease spanning approximately 250,000 square feet at 200 Fifth Avenue in Flatiron, Manhattan. Originally completed in 1909 and once known as the “Toy Center,” the building underwent a renovation in 2008 and achieved LEED Gold Core & Shell certification in 2010. The property is located adjacent to Madison Square Park between West 22nd and 23rd Streets.

Strategic advisory firm Geller & Co. has signed a new lease at 99 Park Avenue, a 26-story office tower owned and managed by Global Holdings in Midtown, Manhattan. Following the launch of a $30 million capital improvement program, the firm will relocate its New York headquarters from 909 Third Avenue to occupy 45,290 square feet across part of the ninth and tenth floors.

ULURP Process Underway For Foster + Partners’ 350 Park Avenue Supertall in Midtown East, Manhattan

The Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) officially kicked off yesterday for 350 Park Avenue, a nearly 1,600-foot-high supertall skyscraper in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by Foster + Partners and developed by Vornado Realty Trust, Rudin, and Ken Griffin, the 62-story structure will yield 1.8 million square feet of Class A office space with a capacity of 6,000 employees. Griffin’s companies, Citadel and Citadel Securities, will serve as the two main anchor tenants, occupying at least 850,000 square feet. The 53,000-square foot property is located between East 51st and 52nd Streets.
