XXXL no longer required! Kevin Federline's baggy clothes hang off his slimmed-down physique after 30lbs weight loss

It looks like it's time for Kevin Federline to update his wardrobe.

The 35-year-old former back-up dancer is currently in the throes of his latest slim down and is successfully battling the bulge having already lost around 30lbs.

Yet despite his trimmer physique, father-of-five K-Fed is still persisting on wearing his customary over-sized clothes.

While he may have some way to go to reach his 50lb weight loss goal, surely the former back-up dancer and ex-husband of Britney Spears could muster an outfit that isn't altogether so swamping.

Kevin was spotted on Sunday stocking up on supplies at Rite Aid in Calabasas during the Oakland Raiders football game.

During his excursion he sported his usual baggy attire of a baseball cap, hooded sweater, t-shirt and basketball shorts, completing the ensemble with a pair of white sneakers.

For the past seven years, the former reality star has struggled with his yo-yoing weight. But it looks like his latest fat-burning efforts are working.

In July, Kevin revealed that so far he's lost 30lbs - and was more than halfway to reaching his weight loss goal of 50lbs - after signing up to Fresh Diet, a programme that delivers healthy meals to customers daily.

'I keep getting lots of questions about the diet I am on. So here is the link. It's called the Fresh Diet,' he tweeted to fans recently.

Kevin, who married Victoria Prince, 30, in August, has made repeated attempts to get fit over the years.

In 2010, he appeared on VH1 show Celebrity Fit Club: Boot camp, tipping the scales at 232lbs. He managed to shed 30lbs on the show, but the results were short-lived and he piled the weight back on.

The next year he made another stab at getting fit, and signed up to Australian reality show Excess Baggage.

But he was beset with health problems during the course of filming and was even rushed to hospital after suffering a minor cardiac arrest while playing a game of football.

Kevin ballooned again following the show, before deciding to get back on the wagon again this summer with his latest fitness regime.

In a 2010 interview, he opened up about how he plunged into a depression after his two-year marriage to Spears ended in 2006, leading him to drink 24 cans of soda a day.

'Everybody saw how I got divorced, it just wasn't a good situation for me. It was tough to watch a person that you love go through all the things she was going through,' he said, referring to Britney's infamous breakdown.

'That was just the beginning of it. I hit 30 years old, I stopped dancing, I hadn't been dancing for years, I started eating, I'm sitting around on the couch playing with the kids here and there, getting lazier and lazier and getting fatter and fatter and fatter.'
