'I much prefer being a homebody': Ruby Rose graces the cover of #legend magazine as actress lifts the lid on life inside the Hollywood bubble
Ruby Rose has enjoyed a meteoric rise to become one of Hollywood's hottest properties over the past three years.
Previously unheralded outside of Australia, the 30-year-old told #legend magazine on Tuesday that she's not been changed by life inside the Hollywood 'bubble.'
The Orange is the New Black star appears on the cover of the publication's January/February edition, and she showed off the finished product on her Instagram on Tuesday as she promotes upcoming blockbuster xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

Alongside a picture of the cover, she wrote: 'Missing Bowie in #legend for @xxxmovie.'
The Melbourne-born star will also play prominent roles in two other Hollywood blockbusters, John Wick: Chapter 2 and Pitch Perfect 3, in 2017.
But Ruby, who now lives in Los Angeles, says she isn't about to be sucked into the 'fantasy life' that her recent success has offered.

She told #legend: 'I’m not really a going-out kind of person. I much prefer being a homebody. I always enjoy listening to music, watching great television and great television shows. I love anything to do with art and the creative process.'
The girlfriend of Veronicas singer Jessica Origliasso, Ruby credits 2014 short film Break Free, which she wrote, produced and starred in, for her acting breakthrough.
And now that the Resident Evil star is establishing herself in Hollywood, she wants to use her status to raise awareness of issues close to her heart.
Animal rights, the environment and the LGBT community are just a few of the things the former MTV host is passionate about.

She said: 'I just want to make sure that I’m a really good human being, a fully rounded person that cares about animals, family, friends, my country and the world. I find a great deal of purpose in that, instead of just shutting myself out.'
In true Vin Diesel style, the latest installment of the xXx franchise is a high-octane action film, featuring outrageous stunts and intense gun fights.
She revealed the first time she met the actor, she had been performing some extreme stunts.

'We met in Toronto', she told the publication, continuiing: 'I was hanging upside down for six hours off a contraption with these wires, going through some of the stunts in the film.
'Vin walked on set and announced, “Hey, everyone, meet Ruby Rose”. He proceeded to always be that way. He’s really such a fun and loving guy.'
Also starring alongside Samuel L Jackson and Ice Cube in the movie, Ruby plays the role of Adele Wolff.

She said: 'Thankfully I was already in good shape but I still had Vin to compete with. We trained together a lot. I saw him lifting massive weights and I loved witnessing his enthusiasm.'
