New "I Can Read" Magic Runs Wild Book Appears on Amazon UK

Amazon UK has another bit of merchandise that hasn't popped up before. A new book starring Izzy called Magic Runs Wild. The description is completely vague:

An all-new adventure with your favorite ponies from Tell Your Tale! This adorable early reader is perfect for sharing with the pony fan in your life.

My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale is an animated series of shorts that follow the pony besties as they embark on wild adventures across Maretime Bay! The fast-paced episodes offer hilarious stories that will have everypony in stitches. Be sure to catch My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale now available on YouTube and Netflix!

This book is a level 1 I Can Read, which means it's perfect for children learning to sound out words and sentences.

It's also not available yet. I'm sure more details will eventually pop up for it as its September 17th release date arrives. For now, you can find it here. 

This book is based on the special that aired a few weeks ago.

A new book listing has appeared over on Amazon, dedicated to fans of the show and their toy collections via a story written by Sam Miggs about children buying pony merch.  It also grabs a few of the people that worked on the comics and lets them tell their own stories with pony.

Sunny Starscout's Book of Adventure (My Little Pony Official Guide) Released

The book Sunny Starscout's Book of Adventure (My Little Pony Official Guide) has been released!

This is the first G5 book to be published by Scholastic. The 128-page book is basically supposed to be Sunny's diary, and she discusses the events that are portrayed in My Little Pony: A New Generation up to the end of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark Chapter 2, as well as her thoughts and feelings about her friends, other ponies, and what might happen in the future.

The book is full color and has numerous pictures, though all of the visuals appear to be screenshots or images reused from previously released MLP media. There isn't a credited author yet, so maybe it was actually written by Sunny herself. Who knows?

The Ministry of Image officially popped up orders for their next printing project - Empty Horizons. You've probably seen that tone a few times over the years since we posted updates for it for ages!

Sunny's Book of Adventure Released Early (Somewhere)

We don't have an actual location for this one's release yet, but the book announced back in May of last year has released a month early somewhere, and uploads of it are already popping up over on various websites. Like a lot of G5 books, this one actually introduces some new content in the form of Sunny giving a first person journalistic look at everything about G5.

She talks about her friends, actually acknowledges the death of Argyle, and has an entire section secretly written by Opaline, which reveals a bit more about her plans with Sparky's baby dragonfire and magic as a whole. It ends with a personality quiz.

Until we find where it actually released early, expect it to release in February on the 7th. I'll update the post if we find the shop that dropped it! For now, expect to see it out there in the wild since it's a pretty neat story with over 100 pages.

The cover of an upcoming G5 picture book has been revealed! The book is titled My Little Pony: Unicorn Sleepover and will be released on March 16, 2023. It'll be an adaptation of the My Little Pony: Make Your Mark episode "The Traditional Unicorn Sleep-Over".

At the moment, you can find the book on Amazon UK and HarperCollins UK.

New Polish "5 Minute Before Bedtime" G5 MLP Book Possibly Reveal Some Make Your Mark Series

A New polish book based on G5 with the goal of telling fairy tails before bedtime has a preview up on a polish website. Unfortunately it's all in polish, but you can kinda glean what's going on in some of the pictures. The big thing is that it's all unseen content, so most likely from the new Make Your Mark Chapter 2 series!

New Possible Name Revealed for Dark Alicorn in Make Your Mark!

An iTunes preview for the upcoming "My Little Pony: Meet the Ponies of Maretime Bay" book has a preview image including a map of the current Equestrian world. One specific spot on it is a castle that seems to name that new alicorn we saw at the end of Make Your Mark. "Opaline's Dark Castle" sits north of Mareetime Bay, and most people are speculating that this is likely the home of out newest horse villain.

The "I Can Read" Comics series had a book listed up back in April starring Zipp and Pipp swapping places for a day, persuing the others interest on the advice of Sunny to resolve an argument. We now have a cover for it if you are curious about what kind of art style it will have.

"Merry Christmas, Everypony!" Storybook Pages Revealed

Amazon has updated their UK version of the "Merry Christmas, Everypony!" Storybook with some preview pages showing off what exactly you will find inside. The entire thing is 24 pages, so it's nothing too extensive, but still neat to see a little G5 story.

The release date is November 2022. Get the teaser and details below!

The Cutie Mark Mix-Up - Netflix Tie in and Sparky Focused Story Synopsis Revealed

Sparky has only barely been introduced in the Make Your Mark Special, but we are already getting a full on synopsis for a future book that appears to tie into the Netflix special if the info on its Amazon listing is any indication. We've posted the title of this one in the past, but never this new summary they have up!
