Requesting A Retirement Estimate
Requesting a retirement estimate can help you better plan for retirement. Your Retirement Specialist in the Retirement and Employee Benefits Branch will review your federal history and prepare a retirement estimate to send to you via email.
How to Request an Estimate:
• The WiTS portal is the preferred way to request a retirement estimate.
• The GRB Platform may be used to project your own estimate.
The Retirement and Employee Benefits Branch is committed to provide excellent customer service. While the anticipated turn around for retirement estimates within a year to be 4-6 weeks, and 6-8 weeks for estimates one to five years away.
You may experience slight delays in receiving estimates from October – December. During these months our office is heavily focused on Benefits Open Season and year end retirements. Note: If you are retiring at the end of this year, your request will be prioritized. We appreciate your patience during this timeframe.
Employees seeking an urgent retirement estimate or an estimate for retirement planned more than five years in the future, we recommend utilizing the GRB Platform to project your own estimate.
