Engineering Headway - Details
About:
The combination of purely technical solutions with social and psychological aspects of human activity is a special feature of modern engineering practice and makes essential corrections in its development, expanding the scope of its influence.
Engineering Headway (EH) publishes peer-reviewed articles which were presented at various conferences, symposia, seminars, etc. and reflect the current state of achievements in the field of engineering.
The thematic orientation of the Engineering Headway starts from various fields of materials science and mechanical engineering to modern processing and synthesis technologies, including control of technological processes, modern production management in general and information and digital technologies.
Papers submitted for publication in EH cannot be published or sent for publication elsewhere.
Authors retain the right to publish an extended, significantly updated version in another periodical.
Note from the Editor in Chief Prof. Anabela Carvalho Alves:
"Engineering Headway (EH) intends to be a transversal periodical that unities different areas and fields in interdisciplinary approaches that move forward Engineering. Society needs Engineering solutions but the solutions need to be designed with a system-thinking, sustainable and ethical approaches to solve problems without damaging any stakeholders. For this, all fields must be working in a cooperative, collaborative and symbiotic way."
