A great military/political medieval drama. The animation is good, the fights interesting, the strategies and tactics believable and most importantly fun.
The characters are very well-written, which is a treat seeing as there's a sizable ensemble of them, and they're a delight to watch.
The protagonist and main antagonist have an especially interesting dynamic, as they are on diametrically opposite sides of the spectrum of the main themes of the series: loyalty and leadership and how neither can be bought or inherited, but must be earned.
Many similar stories have pacing issues, but Arslan Senki has no qualms about skipping what needs skipping and focussing on character and plot development moments.
Supremely bingeable, recommended to anyone into political dramas, military action, medieval settings or lovable ensemble casts.
