PLOT in my ECCHI anime?!
Most people will write this one off because of the type of anime it is, and I don't blame them.
However, I am happy to announce I was WRONG about my MISCONCEPTIONS!
Despite its genre, it is pretty light on ecchi overall, and instead we get a disjointed, but fulfilling story about love and how it transcends barriers.
The plot has pacing issues, very little world building and backstory is given on most characters overall. Given all these flaws, it still manages to pull off a pretty uplifting story.
Don't sleep on this one!

If one would take away silly over the top ecchi moments, this is actually an underrated hidden gem. Good character development, pretty good story and overall good execution. I wish there was a 2nd season.

I agree with @Helemar, it feels like it's underrated for the overall quality of the anime. It's left open ended on a positive note. The story progression was consistent and engaging, didn't feel forced more like the completion of an arc. It's quite a bit different that a lot of cheaply made animes where the quality of the animation drops off considerably or they throw the viewer for the loop to keep it engaging. (like, "The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody" which was absolutely terrible)

The premise of a student wanting to be the top mage and summoning a demon to help was cool. Although the direction this went in was cheesy. The main character was ok, the pacing was so-so and the overall enjoyment was alright. Overall, in this fantasy world that has magic and familiars this went in a childish direction, but was a decent watch.

I imagine Vermeil is the main draw of this series, but she also feels sidelined in her own show sometimes. I recommend this for people that want some magical elements, fighting and lots of often awkward kisses.

I'm struggling in between recommending it or being a must see. Anime has a few flaws in general, for example, Alto is limited to using only one type of magic which does not make sense in the long run, or Vemeil's transformation (or lack of) despite being pumped huge amounts of mana, but if you ignore such things - actually it is a really pleasant watch, good character development but too many questions left unanswered and something tells me there won't be season 2 and I hope I am wrong.

You would think, based upon the description, that this was going to be just an over the top ecchi series. It is so much more. There's solid romance, action, character development, and story progression.
Based upon what the score is, this is criminally underrated. There were no moments in this series that I was exasperated with the characters, the plots, nor bored with any aspect of it. The series has consequences, and resolutions.
I highly recommend watching this series. And I sincerely hope there will be a second season.

Yes - someone can say that father is Brandish and mother is Viper GTS.
But aside jokes about popular hentai plot - it feels even not like dirty ecchi - more like age difference romance or love triangle. At least in 2 series that now present - so green rec as not finalized yet.
Also - finally grown up female present.
Show looks quite low-budget/simple but seems potentially worth attention. At least give it a try.
