Dejiko and Puchiko are ten years older, living together in a small apartment. The 20-year-old Dejiko works full-time at a cake shop and Puchiko (now fifteen years old) still goes to school. Their slow, mundane lives are thrown into turmoil though, when Dejiko meets a boy at work and begins to pursue him.

Even if its very short (that why i am not so fonded with oavs) its a pretty nice anime, i especially like in this one the enviroment, very realistic, not the fancy (luxurious and big apartament or even house) enviroment of the longer series, this is pretty much where a japanese student can live, small one room apartament

This is my first review so don't rate me so bad. Well,let's get started. (Also english isn't my first languace so please tell me any mistakes I made)

Animation
The animation is very good because it uses a lot of frames to show us a very natural motion. The designs of the characters matches the series idea without making it very "crazy" (I am saying that because of the History of Dejiko & Puchigo). The 2 females lead characters Dejiko and Puchiko look so good that it couldn't have been made any better, but it's the first time we seen them that way, so it takes a bit of time to get used to the new style.The problem with the character designs was that sometimes they look the same with others and it was a bit of confusing. The background scenery is made in a very simple way without nothing too "edgy" and it was a 100% match with the story.

Sound
The sound was simple and many times it was a variation of the main theme. All the themes were very simple, enjoyable and they fit the story. The opening-ending was also very relaxing and suited the series. The song Puchigo sings at the second episode was very good and it was the first time I heard a french song in anime; too bad it was a small one.

Story
The story is a simple love story with Dejiko and a boy. It has it turns and twists but it is good. The only problem is that they leave the ending way too unexplained and they cut it with a very bad way. But other than that is a classic love story.

Character
Well for the characters... This is the most weird part. Every person that watched Di-Gi-Charat knew that Dejico's behavior was a bit (a lot) rude, had a small temper, a bit annoying and without any shyness. In this anime they made a 100% change to her behavior. She is very shy, she is gentle to other people and she listens to others. Puchigo stayed a bit the same but she shown that she has a lot of hidden talents (She can draw very good, she sings and plays the guitar and she is a good player at softball). The lead male character Takuro is also a bit shy at times but he will do things that need a lot of courage.The female person that leaves at Takuro's house is gentle and cares for the others.As for the other characters appearing in the series (Dejico's and Puchigo's co-workers) I can't say much because this anime focuses on the 4 of them.

Value
This anime is very good but it won't feel the same if you watch it for a second time.Unfortunately, this is a one-time only series. The good part is that you will be remembering it for a long time if you are a Di Gi Charat fan.

Enjoyment
The anime is very enjoyable with a lot of easter eggs (Rabi-en-Rose shows up 2 times and apparently became a TV Actor, Abarenbou head also shows up 2 times, Murataku also appears in the first 4 panel manga Puchigo draws, the legendary couple Dejiko and Puchigo also appeared at the end of the second episode, a small girl wearing Dejiko's hat appears at the opening and Henna Ikimono also appears at the end of the first episode). I liked the changes of Dejiko and Puchigo. I consider buying this anime and make it part of my Di Gi Charat collection.
