Ookubo Masao is an animator belonging to Group Zen. He is known as another instance of the so-called "Kanada school" having closely used the same techniques of exaggerated movement and style that Kanada Yoshinori used so often. However, he does concentrate less on effects and more on display of feelings, such as tears.
