I am a retired educator having served as a teacher, principal, and superintendent of schools. I am not a career politician and am seeking to represent my community as a Christian, Conservative, and Republican.

  • I have been endorsed by the Ohio Republican Party, the Clermont County Republican Party, and the Brown County Republican Party
  • I have been endorsed by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, Ohio Right to Life, Cincinnati Right to Life, and the Ohio State Medical Association.
  • I have been given an "A" rating by Buckeye Firearms and have been designated a "Friend of Agriculture" by the Ohio Farm Bureau.

Having served in education for 33 years, I am very concerned about the use of the Common Core and the over testing of students. It is also important that parents have the right to choose the best educational option for their children.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Ohio

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
