|Adam Miller has spent his career advocating for education, social justice, and veterans' affairs. Beginning his career in public service as a public school teacher and coach, Adam also served on the Grandview Heights City School Board. His public service extends to his distinguished twenty-eight year military career. He is a Colonel in the U.S. Army JAG Corps (Reserve) and a combat veteran with multiple overseas tours, including two deployments to Afghanistan. His roles in military leadership, particularly as Rule of Law Director for NATO/US Forces in Afghanistan, highlight his expertise in international affairs and dedication to national security. Miller has excelled at bipartisan collaboration, successfully passing legislation that positively impacts Ohioans' everyday lives. His focus on key areas such as addressing our mental health crisis, improving public education, increasing veteran support, fostering economic growth, and protecting civil rights has garnered cross-party support. His legislative success highlights his dedication to serving all Ohio residents and underscores his potential as a unifying figure in Congress. He has been a leading voice fighting for women to have the power to make their own healthcare decisions. A fourth generation Columbus "Hilltop" native and an active member of the First Community Church, as our Congressman, Adam will use his diverse experience and moderate values to effectively serve our nation.
- Adam’s life story has given him the insight and understanding to fight for every American. A son of divorce, who grew up with the love and compassion of a single parent, he understands the struggles so many families face. Like many Americans, Adam’s own life has been touched by mental health and addiction. He lost a brother, who fought a lifelong battle with addiction. When he says he wants to end the mental health and addiction crisis, it is not just a campaign slogan, it’s a personal calling to serve.
- Adam has the professional experience to get the job done. Whether it is fighting for reproductive rights, working on legislation to improve the lives of working Ohioans, assisting veterans and returning service members, or serving his country in uniform, Adam has the experience to be an effective legislator and leader for the people of the 15th district.
- Adam will work to end the discord and dysfunction in the US House of Representatives. As a state representative, he has introduced more bipartisan legislation than any other member of the Ohio House.
Protecting a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions remains a top priority.
Working to end mental health and addiction crisis in our country requires a New Deal like effort that will help alleviate the problem at every level. We have to treat this crisis as a national security issue.
Restoring faith in government means we stop pitting Americans against each other for political gain and we put our country over party. From protecting social security to investing in jobs and infrastructure to ensuring our men and women in uniform have the resources they need; Congress has to start passing its funding bills on time and stop the destructive gamesmanship that only ends up hurting everyone.
Being a good listener. Members of Congress should take the time and listen and truly understand the people they serve.
Budgets are moral documents and our taxing and spending policies should focus on raising up all Americans.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
