Biography
Emilia Sykes was born in Akron, Ohio. Sykes earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Kent State University and a juris doctor and master's degree in public health from the University of Florida. Her career experience includes working as an administrative staff advisor with the Summit County Fiscal Office and a law clerk to the chief justice of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.[1]
