Pro-Life What could possibly be more important than Life in this world? We often hear a career politician talk about gun violence and how it can end a life, which is so precious. The very next day, the same politician will say that a Mother has the right to end a life of a child if she so chooses. This warped view of the significance of Life through a political spectrum is something that must change in our society. Abortions are performed in this Country at alarming rates, as if abortion is the preferred method of birth control in the name of “women’s healthcare”. I believe unequivocally that every unborn child is endowed by its Creator with a right to Life from conception to birth. As your elected Representative I will do everything in my power to ensure that every unborn child is given every opportunity afforded by God to be born into this world.
Immigration & Border Security As a third generation American of Hispanic descent, I am a firm supporter of legal immigration. The impact that immigrants have had on America can be found in every chapter ever written of our Nation’s history. American immigration is essential to maintaining the world’s largest economy and attracting those who share our values to join us in this great experiment of a Constitutional Republic. Immigration, however, must be lawful and to serve a purpose or need in our Country. Unfortunately, after decades of Washington elites ignoring the rule of law in favor of open border policies that may help their chances of re-election, the situation at our southern border is dire and in need of immediate correction. As your elected Representative I will fully support the construction of a wall on our southern border, I will vow to vote NO on any legislation that grants illegal immigrants the right to vote in our elections, and I will work day and night to ensure that our Border agents are receiving all the support available from the federal government to enforce the immigration laws that keep American citizens safe and secure.
Election Integrity The People's trust in fair, legal, and accurate elections is critical to our society. As your elected Representative my top priority to address will be election integrity. We cannot allow what happened in the 2020 General Election to be repeated in the future. The fabric of our society is at stake.
Second Amendment Perhaps the most distinguishing pillar of Freedom that sets the United States of America apart from all other countries of the world is the right of our People to keep and bear arms. The Second Amendment to the Constitution guarantees that the power to protect the fundamental rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness rests solely with individual citizens. As your elected Representative I will defend the rights expressly defined by the Constitution with unwavering resolve.
Education The fate of our Nation will undeniably be determined on the quality of education that we provide for the next generation of Americans. I firmly believe that the United States of America is the greatest nation in the world. Our education system must be proactively maintained and continually measured to ensure we are providing children and young adults the knowledge, opportunities and choices to develop the skills necessary to make a positive impact on our Nation’s workforce. American communities require a vast array of skillsets to function as a society, some requiring higher education, and others requiring technical training in a skilled trade. Not every citizen must obtain an advanced degree to make a positive contribution to our society and enjoy a rewarding career to support their family. As your elected Representative I will identify and promote education policies that maximize the positive outcomes for students with diverse skillsets, that come from diverse economic backgrounds and that aim to provide the next generation the best opportunities to succeed in a fulfilling career. I will be a hardened proponent for legislation promoting parents’ access to choices for their children’s education, independent of economic or geographic restrictions.
Healthcare There is a reason healthcare is not mentioned in the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution. Despite what the liberal political pundits on cable news channels may say on a daily basis, increased federal government involvement in our Nation’s healthcare system would only make the problems worse. Consider “Obamacare” which caused a near 50% increase in healthcare premiums nationwide. In many cases, much more. The website did not even work when the program was launched. Total dysfunction. The truth of the matter is, aside from the US Military, the federal government is not good at successfully executing large programs in a fiscally responsible and efficient manner. How long was the line the last time you were at the Social Security office? How about the DMV? These are prime examples of government inefficiency that does not align well with critical healthcare needs that millions of Americans deal with on a daily basis. As your elected Representative I will fight against any and all legislation which would allow the federal government more power or control over the healthcare system in the United States. I would champion legislation and policies based on free market principles which would promote competition among healthcare providers to naturally reduce cost and promote efficiency and quality.[2] |
