Biography

Joe Timmons was born in Washington, and lives in Bellingham. Timmons graduated from Meadowdale High School. He earned a B.A. in political science and English from Western Washington University in Bellingham in 2007 and an M.P.A. from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance in 2011. His career experience includes working at the local, state, and federal levels of government, including in Governor Jay Inslee’s (D) office as the Northwest Washington regional representative and, before that, as Western Washington University's assistant director of government relations. Timmons served on boards with the City of Bellingham and the Bellingham Food Bank.[1][2]
