Biography
Julio Cortes was born in Mexico, and lives in Everett, Washington. Cortes graduated from Wapato High School. He earned an associate degree from Walla Walla Community College and a bachelor's degree in public relations and journalism from Western Washington University. His career experience includes working as a homeless prevention specialist at Oasis Teen Shelter, as an advocate/outreach manager and a public relations manager at the Cocoon House, and as the communications and marketing manager and small and medium business liaison for the City of Everett.[1][2]
