Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

so that you will live a life worthy of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that is, that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to take his own spouse for himself in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the heathen, who do not know God;read more.

Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, with instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And this we will do, if God permits.

For by the grace given to me I say to every one among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith which God has assigned him.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another, for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into him, who is the head, into Christ,

Strive for peace with all men, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

Therefore, put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn babes, long for the pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, for you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.
