And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were collected, the floods stood upright as a heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.
I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were disturbed.
When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt shall depart.

And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the boat, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say to him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?read more.

And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a boat with his disciples: and he said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they lanched forth. But as they sailed, he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind, and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.read more.
And he said to them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid, wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
Woe to the multitude of many people, who make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God will rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.
The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
Who is this that cometh up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers?
In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
