Peter began to say to him, "See, we have left everything and followed you." Jesus said, "Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this timehouse and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come, eternal life.
Then Peter said, "Behold, we have left all and followed you." So he said to them, "Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the age to come eternal life."
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it.
Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
And there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather let there be thanksgiving.
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.read more.
And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, overflowing with thanksgiving.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and offer to God acceptable worship with reverence and awe,
