The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and any other commandment there may be, are summed up in this sentence, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is of any avail, but faith working through love.
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.
