Sing to LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye who go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified thee.

For pass over to the isles of Kittim, and see, and send to Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there has been such a thing. Has a nation changed [its] gods, which yet are no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.

Hear the word of LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.

Let the wilderness and the cities of it lift up [their voice], the villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing. Let them shout from the top of the mountains. And now I exhort you to cheer up, for there will not be one loss of life from you, except of the ship. For there stood by me this night an agent of the God whose I am, whom also I serve, saying, Fear not, Paul. Thou must stand before Caesar, and lo, God has granted thee all those sailing with thee. Therefore men, cheer up, for I believe God, that it will be so in that way it has been told to me. But we must fall off upon a certain island.
