And thereto her enemy Peninnah vexed her a good in casting her in the teeth how the LORD had made her barren.

Howbeit, they hurt not me," sayeth the LORD, "but rather confound, and shame themselves."

Either, shall we provoke the Lord? Or are we stronger than he?
