And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceedingly great.
You ought therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received my own with interest.
And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth: lo, there you have what is yours.
Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him who has ten talents.

And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand darics, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of bronze eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.
Then he who had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not spread:
And he called his ten servants, and delivered to them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
His lord said unto him, Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter into the joy of your lord.
As every man has received a gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bore them before him.
And cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and released him, and forgave him the debt.
Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;
And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is your pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
And he said unto him, Well done, good servant: because you have been faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.
And the king of Egypt dethroned him at Jerusalem, and imposed on the land a tribute of a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
And they came to Ophir, and brought from there gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.
And the bronze of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand and four hundred shekels.
Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,
And, behold, there was lifted up a cover of lead: and there was a woman that sits in the midst of the basket.
