'Believed' in the Bible
Abram believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.
The people believed, and when they heard that the Lord had paid attention to them and that He had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.
When Israel saw the great power that the Lord used against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and believed in Him and in His servant Moses.
Who has believed what we have heard?And who has the arm of the Lord been revealed to?
The men of Nineveh believed in God. They proclaimed a fast and dressed in sackcloth—from the greatest of them to the least.
Then Jesus told the centurion, “Go. As you have believed, let it be done for you.” And his servant was cured that very moment.
She who has believed is blessed because what was spoken to her by the Lord will be fulfilled!”
Jesus performed this first sign in Cana of Galilee. He displayed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.
So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. And they believed the Scripture and the statement Jesus had made.
Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.
Now many Samaritans from that town believed in Him because of what the woman said when she testified, “He told me everything I ever did.”
“Go,” Jesus told him, “your son will live.” The man believed what Jesus said to him and departed.
The father realized this was the very hour at which Jesus had told him, “Your son will live.” Then he himself believed, along with his whole household.
For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, because he wrote about Me.
However, many from the crowd believed in Him and said, “When the Messiah comes, He won’t perform more signs than this man has done, will He?”
He said this about the Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus were going to receive the Spirit, for the Spirit had not yet been received because Jesus had not yet been glorified.
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, you really are My disciples.
Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
Therefore, many of the Jews who came to Mary and saw what He did believed in Him.
But this was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet, who said:Lord, who has believed our message?And who has the arm of the Lordbeen revealed to?
For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God.
because the words that You gave Me,I have given them.They have received themand have known for certainthat I came from You.They have believed that You sent Me.
The other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, then entered the tomb, saw, and believed.
Jesus said, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed. Those who believe without seeing are blessed.”
But many of those who heard the message believed, and the number of the men came to about 5,000.
Now the large group of those who believed were of one heart and mind, and no one said that any of his possessions was his own, but instead they held everything in common.
But when they believed Philip, as he preached the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.

The Lord’s hand was with them, and a large number who believed turned to the Lord.

The same thing happened in Iconium; they entered the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks believed.

in God’s sight. As it is written: I have made you the father of many nations. He believed in God, who gives life to the dead and calls things into existence that do not exist.
He believed, hoping against hope, so that he became the father of many nations according to what had been spoken: So will your descendants be.
But how can they call on Him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about Him? And how can they hear without a preacher?
But all did not obey the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our message?
Besides this, knowing the time, it is already the hour for you to wake up from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, and each has the role the Lord has given.
You are also saved by it, if you hold to the message I proclaimed to you—unless you believed for no purpose.
Therefore, whether it is I or they, so we proclaim and so you have believed.
And since we have the same spirit of faith in keeping with what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke, we also believe, and therefore speak.
know that no one is justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ. And we have believed in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no human being will be justified.
Just as Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness,
When you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him, you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.
in that day when He comes to be glorified by His saints and to be admired by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed.
And most certainly, the mystery of godliness is great:He was manifested in the flesh,vindicated in the Spirit,seen by angels,preached among the nations,believed on in the world,taken up in glory.
and that is why I suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, because I know the One I have believed in and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day.
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed. You know those who taught you,
This saying is trustworthy. I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed God might be careful to devote themselves to good works. These are good and profitable for everyone.
(for we who have believed enter the rest), in keeping with what He has said:So I swore in My anger,they will not enter My rest.And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world,
So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness, and he was called God’s friend.
(The one who believes in the Son of God has this testimony within him. The one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony God has given about His Son.)
