Rupamati vs. Bir Charitra

[edit]

Hi. Thanks for creating articles related to Nepali literature. I just came across to some details which are confusing to me.

In Bir Charitra, it says: "Bir Charitra is considered to be the first novel written in Nepali language."

While in Rudra Raj Pande, you have written "He wrote multiple novels including Rupamati, which is considered as one of the first novel written in Nepali language". My understanding is that if Bir Charitra was the first novel written in Nepali, Rupamati should be one of the earliest novels written in Nepali. The term one of the first novel is very confusing.

Thanks. --Gazal world (talk) 20:37, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Gazal world, Thanks for reviewing the articles.
I shall change the phrasing in Rudra Raj Pande. Thanks for the suggestion. Wallflowernepal (talk) 03:06, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. You can request your articles for copy-editing at WP:GOCER. They will correct grammatical errors, and make article's prose polished. Some of your articles lack scholarly sources. I would suggest you to use Google books. If you need any book-chapter, pages, or journal articles you can request it at WP:RX. I have the complete set of Encyclopaedia of Indian Literature which also covers Indian Nepalese-literature articles. If you need any entry from it, feel free to request it. --Gazal world (talk) 06:50, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled granted

[edit]

Hi Wallflowernepal, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Schwede66 11:14, 10 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia page on Shanti Mishra Nepal

[edit]

First, I want to appreciate you for creating Shanti Mishra's Wikipedia. I admire the existing writing. But still, there are some minor mistakes -It wrote that she had two brothers and one sister, but she had only one brother and one sister. It mentioned she got married in 1960 instead of 1970. They need to be corrected.

In this context, I revised and wrote writing with more information about her for you based on the publication listed in the references and the model seen in Wikipedia regarding some other authors. I believe it illustrates her picture more clearly. Please contact me at at narayanshanti70@gmail.com

Viber number: 9841401841 (best time to call is Nepal time 6pm or later) Thank you. Narayan Mishra 208.38.246.73 (talk) 18:18, 24 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nepalko Balinali ra Tinko Digo Kheti

[edit]

Hi, regarding the article Nepalko Balinali ra Tinko Digo Kheti, we shouldn't include vague time periods such as "two decades ago" or "for the last 10 years", as these will quickly become dated. We should specify which years the events took place. Look at it from the point of view of someone reading Wikipedia in 5, 10 or 20 years time. Best regards. --Jameboy (talk) 09:51, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Kantipur Publications.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. Notice

The article List of first novels by language has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is no definitive answer for what the first novel is in many languages, and this article is nonacademic and unnecessary

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ____318____ 18:07, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
