Scenaro

Stargate Atlantis temas pri internacia teamo de militistoj kaj sciencistoj, kiuj foriris de Tero por esplori la legendan urbon Atlantis, en fora galaksio, Pegazo. De tie ili esploras la galaksion pere de aparato nomata stelpordego, kiu ebligas tujan vojaĝon inter planedoj.
La epizodoj ĉefe temas pri malkovro de novaj mondoj, estigo de amikaj rilatoj, serĉado de teknologio de Antikvuloj (la eksterteranoj, kiuj konstruis Atlantis kaj la stelpordegojn) kaj batalo kontraŭ malamikaj popoloj.
