    LAS REDES SOCIALES EN LA EDUCACIN

    Las redes sociales han abierto un nuevo paradigma en el modelo educativo, ya que se ha debatido
    mucho de s es conveniente incluirlo en el aula y formar a los estudiantes, o s en cambio debemos ir
    un modelo ms protector y restrictivo y ensear solo a los alumnos a prevenir los abusos y otros tipos
    de acciones de dudosa moralidad, pero que podran ocurrir a travs de los medios sociales.

    Es evidente que el uso de las Tecnologas (TIC), especialmente los smartphones y tabletas digitales nos
    abre un mundo lleno de posibilidades a travs de Internet. Nuestros menores han nacido en la era de
    las tecnologas digitales, forman parte de su vida cotidiana, de su forma de relacionarse y comunicarse,
    de obtener informacin, forman parte de su tiempo libre y ocio, etc. Pero, son conscientes de los
    riesgos y peligros que se pueden encontrar en este mundo digital? Estn preparados los nios y
    jvenes para saber cmo actuar y cmo defenderse ante dichas amenazas?

    Estas redes sociales sin duda estn cambiando el mundo de hoy en da ya que entre ms transcurre el
    tiempo ms y ms personas se unen a ellas. Pero estas tienden a tener ventajas y desventajas como
    toda idea innovadora.

    Facilita la interaccin entre los estudiantes, las redes sociales pueden incrementar la colaboracin
    entre los diferentes compaeros de clase, ya que es muy fcil establecer vas de comunicacin y
    dilogo que nos permitan trabajar en un proyecto colaborativo. Esta interaccin tambin puede
    realizarse entre los alumnos y sus profesores.

    Adems facilita la bsqueda de informacin, la mayora de blogs y pginas web que publican contenido
    de valor lo difunden en las Redes Sociales, es por ese motivo que en este medio podremos encontrar
    informacin de altsimo valor que nos ayude en la preparacin o elaboracin de trabajos para la clase.

    Tambin nos va a ayudar al aprendizaje continuo, ya que podemos seguir a profesionales que publican
    contenidos todas la semana y nos ayuda a profundizar en una temtica concreta.

    Facilita la comparticin de recursos y contenidos de cualquier medio social es un fantstico vehculo


    para que cualquier alumno pueda difundir recursos o contenidos en ella. Esto hace que estos recursos
    generen una biblioteca colaborativas que muchos alumnos pueden utilizar y aprender de ello.

    Pero tambin podemos encontrar el otro lado de la moneda del uso de las redes sociales como la
    desproteccin de los estudiantes. Los alumnos estn expuestos a una serie de peligros si no se toman
    las precauciones adecuadas para evitar casos como el:

    Grooming. Son acciones dirigidas a ganarse la amistad de un menor de edad por parte de un adulto
    con fines de abuso sexual.

    Ciberacoso o cyberbullying. El cyberbullying es el acoso psicolgico entre iguales por medio de


    Internet, telefona mvil o videojuegos online.

    La rapidez de la comunicacin en Redes Sociales puede generar en el alumno una necesidad de


    respuesta inmediata, y esto es algo que se debe evitar. Un ejemplo similar podra ser el whatsapp, que
    cuando se recibe un mensaje no tenemos que obligatoriamente contestar en ese mismo instante.

    Es importante que se les forme a los alumnos en utilizar las Redes Sociales como una herramienta ms
    de formacin.

    Se puede generar una distraccin por el uso desmedido, cualquier uso abusivo puede perjudicar
    nuestra vida normal, descanso y en consecuencia tambin influir negativamente en nuestro
    rendimiento acadmico.

    Reduccin de las relaciones humanas, los medios sociales no deben reducir la comunicacin e
    interaccin que se tienen los alumnos en clase, aunque lgicamente si el estudiante hace un uso
    desmedido y le dedica demasiadas horas, esto lgicamente afectar a las relaciones humanas que
    tiene con otras personas de su entorno.

    Publicar informacin personal que puede usarse en nuestra contra, hay que tener cuidado con lo que
    publicamos en Redes Sociales porque lo que contemos estar en un mbito pblico, y por lo tanto
    otras personas que tienen acceso a esa informacin podran utilizarlo con fines delictivos.

    Un ejemplo muy comn y que siempre los organismos de polica tratan de prevenir a las personas es
    de no anunciar cuando estars de vacaciones, ni fechas ni nada, porque a da de hoy existen ladrones
    cibernticos que tratan de acceder a informacin sensible que le facilite el poder delinquir con un
    menor riesgo.

    Las redes sociales actualmente forman parte fundamental en la vida diaria de los jvenes en un
    promedio de edad de entre 15 a 25 aos partiendo de este modo a concluir que esto es una de sus
    bases para comunicacin y convivencia social en sociedad. Es necesario el poder informar a los jvenes
    de cmo mantener esta comunicacin pensando en que es un medio alterno mas no uno fundamental
    promoviendo as la comunicacin organizada personal , as mismo los usos del vocabulario sin
    modismos palabras altisonantes y corrigiendo los usos y desusos dentro del lenguaje verbal
    comunicativo

    THE SOCIAL NETWORKS IN THE EDUCATION
    Social networks have opened a new paradigm in the educational model, since it has been debated a
    lot of it is convenient to include it in the classroom and train the students, or if instead we should go
    a more protective and restrictive model and teach only the Students to prevent abuses and other
    types of actions of dubious morality, but that could happen through social media.

    It is clear that the use of Technologies (ICT), especially smartphones and digital tablets opens a world
    full of possibilities through the Internet. Our children are born in the era of digital technologies, they
    are part of their everyday life, their way of relating and communicating, obtaining information, are
    part of their free time and leisure, etc. But, are they aware of the risks and dangers that can be found
    in this digital world? Are children and youth prepared to know how to act and how to defend
    themselves against such threats?

    These social networks are undoubtedly changing the world today as the more time passes the more
    and more people join them. But these tend to have advantages and disadvantages like any innovative
    idea.

    Facilitates interaction between students, social networks can increase collaboration among different
    classmates, since it is very easy to establish communication and dialogue channels that allow us to
    work in a collaborative project. This interaction can also be done between students and their teachers.

    In addition it facilitates the search of information, most blogs and web pages that publish content of
    value spread it in Social Networks, is for that reason that in this medium we will be able to find
    information of great value that helps us in the preparation or elaboration of works for the class.

    It will also help us to continue learning, since we can follow professionals who publish content all week
    and helps us to go deeper into a specific theme.

    Facilitating the sharing of resources and contents of any social medium is a fantastic vehicle for any
    student to disseminate resources or content in it. This makes these resources generate a collaborative
    library that many students can use and learn from it.

    But we can also find the other side of the coin of the use of social networks as the lack of protection
    of students. Students are exposed to a number of hazards if proper precautions are not taken to avoid
    cases such as:

    Grooming. They are actions aimed at earning the friendship of a minor by an adult for purposes of
    sexual abuse.

    Cyberbullying or cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is psychological harassment of peers through the


    Internet, mobile telephony or online video games.

    The speed of communication in Social Networks can generate in the student a need for immediate
    response, and this is something that should be avoided. A similar example could be whatsapp, that
    when you receive a message we do not have to answer at the same time.

    It is important that students are trained in using Social Networks as an additional training tool.

    Distraction can be generated by excessive use, any abusive use can harm our normal life, rest and
    consequently will also negatively influence our academic performance.

    Reduction of human relations, social media should not reduce the communication and interaction that
    students have in class, although logically if the student makes excessive use and dedicates too many
    hours, this will logically affect the human relationships he has with others People around you.

    To publish personal information that can be used against us, we must be careful about what we
    publish in Social Networks because what we have will be in a public domain, and therefore other
    people who have access to that information could use it for criminal purposes.

    A very common example and that the police always try to prevent people is not to announce when
    you will be on vacation, or dates or anything, because today there are cyber thieves who try to access
    sensitive information that facilitates the Power to commit crime with less risk.

    Conclusion

    Social networks are now a fundamental part of the daily life of young people, with an average age
    between 15 and 25 years, thus concluding that this is one of the bases for communication and social
    coexistence in society. It is necessary to be able to inform young people how to maintain this
    communication thinking that it is an alternative medium but not a fundamental one promoting
    personal organized communication.
